Manager

We’re a new remote games studio, focused on building games that bring people together.

We believe games with the highest fun per minute have the highest chance of success. We are a start-up and not a big company, which means we’re a bit scrappy but we’re resourceful, highly collaborative and focused on outcomes and shipping builds over process and meetings.

We aim to hire multi-talented individuals who can operate autonomously and at speed, with every role at the studio being hands-on working directly on our games.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Growth Marketing Manager to own all aspects of the marketing process for our ever growing portfolio of titles. We want someone that understands platforms especially Steam, how they work and how to unlock their potential.

Key Responsibilities:

1 - Wishlist Growth

You will be responsible for optimising every stage of the funnel to drive both organic and high-ROI inorganic growth. You understand Steams ecosystem and know how to work it to maximise wishlists, playtest sign up and ultimately sales.

Success looks like:

  • Running effective campaigns to drive wishlist growth
  • Optimising store pages for conversion and visibility
  • Ensuring messaging / communications match our products (for review scores)
  • Continuously experimenting with new creative approaches, platforms, and services

2 - GTM Owner

You will be the key owner of our Go-To-Market strategy. You will build and execute our plans and be the point contact across the studio for all marketing pillars.

Success looks like:

  • Creation and execution of our GTMS for game launches, announces and updates
  • Minimise the impact on the leadership team around key marketing beats
  • Platform pages are constantly evolving to reflect game updates
  • Work with external agencies and partners to create trailers, key art and additional assets

3 - Data and Dashboards

You will be responsible for monitoring, analysing, and reporting on the performance of the games under your responsibility, ensuring insights lead directly to action and improvement.

Success looks like:

  • Building and maintaining clear, up-to-date product dashboards that are updated weekly
  • Tracking and analysing both organic and inorganic growth performance
  • Reporting concise, actionable outcomes and ROI for each campaign or experiment

We are looking for someone inventive and entrepreneurial who thrives on data, experimentation, and measurable impact. We are a small team and are looking for someone that can be impactful and understands working with budgets and time constraints.

  • Proven track record in optimising growth funnels
  • Extremely quick learner with the ability to absorb and act on complex information
  • Excellent communicator who can produce concise summaries and clear action points
  • Tenacious and hands-on, comfortable managing both strategy and implementation
  • Understands the Friendslop space and how to market games in that genre
