Job Summary

FusionAuth is looking for a Content Marketing Manager to scale our marketing with high-value, full-funnel content that drives awareness, education, and pipeline. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, fast worker and excited about growing a company from the ground up. The role will report to [Head of Marketing/VP of Marketing/CMO]. We are open to full-time US-based candidates to work as a dedicated full-time employee. Most of our staff reside in the Mountain or Pacific time zone, but we are open to any US location.

The Content Marketing Manager will create compelling content across all stages of the buyer journey including all facets of content strategy, creation, optimization, and performance measurement. This growing company needs a full-time, roll-up-your-sleeves pro with a diverse background scaling an organization through multiple stages (i.e. seven-figure, eight-figure, and nine-figure revenue). We are growing rapidly and you will have a direct hand in creating and improving content marketing operations.

 

Responsibilities

  • Create compelling content across all stages of the buyer journey—from top-of-funnel education to bottom-of-funnel decision support
  • Produce high-impact assets including ebooks, reports, guides, whitepapers, checklists, cheat sheets, calculators, case studies, videos, blogs, and industry insights
  • Partner with demand gen to tailor content for integrated campaigns, ABM programs, paid channels, and nurture flows
  • Translate complex identity and authentication concepts into clear, digestible content that resonates with technical audiences
  • Work closely with product marketing, developer relations, and SMEs to ensure accuracy and clarity without losing technical depth
  • Use AI tools to accelerate content creation—from outlines to draft production to optimization, and experiment with AI-driven formats
  • Own website SEO strategy, conduct keyword research and incorporate SEO best practices into content planning and execution
  • Maintain a strategic editorial calendar aligned to ICPs, verticals, campaign needs, and product priorities
  • Manage workflows with designers, writers, contractors, and SMEs as needed
  • Partner with revenue operations to develop reporting and dashboards for content attribution and performance

Qualifications
Required

  • 4-6 years of content marketing experience in a B2B software environment, experience with cyber security, developer tools, and infrastructure a plus
  • Proven experience creating high-quality demand generation content with a strong ability to translate technical concepts for multiple personas
  • Comfort working hands-on with AI tools for content generation and process acceleration.
  • Creative with a passion for storytelling
  • Excellent writing, editing, and structural organization skills.
  • Experience partnering with demand gen to map content to the funnel and drive measurable impact.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • SEO, keyword strategy, and content performance analytics experience

Preferred

  • Experience building and managing content hubs, resource centers, or interactive content experiences that drive self-service education and engagement
  • Familiarity with authentication, authorization, identity management, or API security concepts through previous work in adjacent technical domains
  • Background in developer marketing or experience creating technical documentation, tutorials, or developer-focused educational content
  • Proficiency with marketing automation platforms and experience building sophisticated nurture programs with dynamic content
  • Portfolio demonstrating successful content attribution to pipeline or revenue

Compensation

  • $90 - 120k expected base salary range*

*Pursuant to various state laws, we must display the pay range for this job. Since we are willing to hire within a broad spectrum of qualifications, this range is broad. The expected base salary may be adjusted based on individual qualifications, role, level and location.
