The mission of the VP of Marketing is to build the marketing engine that powers this next phase of growth.
This leader will help reposition BoomPop in the market from a services-led company to a category-defining software platform while expanding our reach into enterprise buyers. They will build a marketing organization that combines performance, brand, and product marketing to generate predictable pipeline and clear market leadership.
This is a builder and operator role. We are looking for someone who has successfully led a similar transition before. Someone who knows how to sharpen positioning, build enterprise demand, and turn marketing into a measurable pipeline engine inside a high-growth company.
Success in this role means creating a marketing organization that consistently generates qualified pipeline, strengthens market positioning, and equips sales to win.
Top 3 Priorities
- Successfully reposition BoomPop in the market from a services company to a software platform without disrupting the existing funnel.
- Generate predictable enterprise pipeline for our software offering.
- Build and execute a unified marketing strategy across brand, demand generation, and product marketing.
Within 30 days:
- Learn the business quickly. Develop a deep understanding of our ICPs, enterprise sales motion, product roadmap, and current funnel performance.
- Audit the existing marketing system including channel performance, conversion rates, spend efficiency, pipeline quality, and marketing technology.
- Align with the CEO, Sales, and Product leadership on positioning. Clarify what we are, who we serve, and why we win.
- Deliver a clear readout of the current state of marketing along with the first two or three highest leverage improvements.
Within 60 days:
- Present a clear marketing strategy tied directly to revenue goals. This should include pipeline targets, key growth bets, positioning, messaging, KPIs, and budget allocation.
- Launch the first wave of pipeline programs focused on high-intent demand and funnel conversion improvements.
- Create a clear narrative for leadership and investors about marketing performance. What changed, what is working, and what comes next.
- Implement reporting systems that allow leadership to forecast quarter performance using leading indicators from the funnel.
Within 90 days:
- Demonstrate measurable improvements in pipeline health, including volume, quality, or conversion rates.
- Launch updated messaging and positioning in the market across website, sales decks, lifecycle campaigns, and core collateral.
- Establish a clear operating cadence including weekly performance reviews, monthly strategy sessions, and quarterly planning.

What you'll do
- Build and lead the marketing organization across performance marketing, brand marketing, demand generation, content, and product marketing.
- Drive efficient top-of-funnel acquisition and pipeline growth through a balanced mix of brand and performance marketing.
- Develop a strong product marketing function that communicates the value of BoomPop’s platform and keeps momentum around product launches and features.
- Partner closely with Sales to ensure marketing programs translate into qualified pipeline and revenue.
- Work cross-functionally with Product to deeply understand the roadmap and translate product innovation into compelling external narratives.
- Own BoomPop’s messaging and positioning. Ensure our story is consistent, differentiated, and grounded in real customer value.
- Build scalable marketing programs across digital channels, lifecycle marketing, content, and events.
- Oversee marketing analytics, reporting, and attribution to drive data-informed decision making.
- Analyze market trends and competitive dynamics to identify opportunities for differentiation and category leadership.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of B2B SaaS marketing leadership experience, ideally within a high-growth startup or scale-up environment.
- Experience building marketing functions that generate measurable pipeline and support enterprise sales motions.
- Strong leadership track record with the ability to hire, develop, and retain high-performing teams.
- Deep expertise across product marketing, demand generation, and go-to-market strategy.
- Experience with modern marketing technology stacks including Salesforce, HubSpot, and analytics platforms.
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills with the ability to influence across executive teams.

Occasional Travel: Connecting is in our DNA, please note that we anticipate roughly 6-8 nights of travel per year for this role.
Total Compensation Package; Including Benefits and Stock:
- Base: $197,000 - $275,000 a year; Depending on Experience and Qualifications
- Bonus: $25,000 a year; Depending on Business and Personal Milestones Achieved
- Medical, vision, dental, life: $10,000 - $16,000 a year; Depending on Individual or Family Plan
- Equity: Our vision is to take BoomPop to the moon
