The role...

We are seeking a full-time Vice President of Marketing who will report directly to our CEO. This is a dynamic, multifaceted, and challenging role, in which you will spearhead our marketing, brand, and demand generation efforts. As we continue our high-growth trajectory, you will be a pivotal member in driving the momentum and velocity behind our company's growth — excited yet?!

What you get to do...

  • Lead the overall marketing strategy and own the allocation of the marketing budget, ensuring maximum ROI across all efforts including content, events, email, and demand generation
  • Directly manage and mentor a high-performing team, facilitating weekly strategy meetings and fostering a culture of continuous growth
  • Streamline existing marketing channels, while identifying and establishing new strategies to exceed growth targets for revenue and partnerships
  • Design and execute marketing campaigns, collaborating closely with Academic Relations, Partner Success, and Sales teams
  • Drive company-wide alignment on brand positioning, content creation, and overall messaging
  • Develop and test new marketing initiatives, guiding your team to tailor content to Knack’s target audiences and craft compelling messaging for partner marketing and user engagement campaigns
  • Utilize HubSpot analytics to inform high-level strategies, measure campaign effectiveness, and optimize reach and engagement across the funnel
  • Build compelling sales enablement tools to drive new partner acquisition and increase engagement from existing partnerships


This may be for you if...

  • You have 10+ years of marketing experience
  • You have 5+ years of leadership experience within the education sector (EdTech, Higher Ed, etc.)
  • You have extensive experience managing marketing budgets, forecasting spend, and demonstrating clear return on investment
  • You are an exceptional leader who knows how to empower direct reports, enjoying collaboration and team success just as much as individual achievements
  • You possess a strong strategic vision but aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves to review copy or engage with current and prospective customers
  • You are intrinsically motivated, welcome the autonomy of a leadership role, and work exceptionally well in a fast-paced, remote environment
