Analyst

At Dave, data is at the heart of how we build products that level the financial playing field for millions of members. As a Senior Data Analyst, you’ll take on some of our most complex and high-impact questions—like why churn spiked, how a new feature drives retention, or which growth channel delivers the most valuable members. You’ll be a trusted partner to Product, Marketing, and Finance, delivering insights that turn data into decisions. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on curiosity, dives deep into data, and brings clarity to fast-moving, high-stakes questions.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead deep-dive analyses into product performance, user behavior, and company-level KPIs—translating insights/findings into clear, actionable recommendations.

  • Channel Attribution & Modelling: Own attribution logic and models, including ongoing maintenance of methodology and reattribution updates.

  • Reporting & Dashboarding: Build and scale UA (User Acquisition) dashboards that empower stakeholders across the business to access and act on data.

  • Provide data insights to support media optimization across publisher, creative, OS, device, and other key dimensions.

  • Incrementality Testing: collaborating with UA team on design and execution of incrementality test plans, including geo selection and own test readouts.

  • Analyze marketing and growth performance, connecting acquisition spend to conversion to optimize the ROI of Marketing spend.

  • Respond to urgent, high-priority business questions with structured investigations, ensuring leadership has the clarity to make fast, confident decisions.

  • Share best practices and elevate the broader team by modeling disciplined analysis, thoughtful communication, and curiosity-driven problem-solving.

What You’ll Need

  • 4+ years of experience in data, Marketing or product analytics, ideally in high-growth or tech environments.

  • Deep proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of Python or R.

  • Skilled in BI tools (Looker, Mode, Tableau) and developing scalable dashboards for KPI monitoring (CAC, ROAS, etc.) across marketing channels.

  • Marketing analytics experience in Channel Attribution, Incrementality Test design/Measurement, and New Marketing Channel exploration.

  • Experience with product analytics, including experimentation (A/B tests, cohort analysis, funnel optimization).

  • Strong business acumen with experience collaborating across functions such as Marketing, Product, and Finance.

  • Proven ability to translate analytical findings into compelling stories and recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Experience in financial services or fintech preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a field requiring analytical or structured thinking (e.g., STEM, Economics, or similar); Master’s degree preferred
