Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Shopify SEO Specialist II to lead technical and on-page SEO efforts for our global apparel storefronts. This role is responsible for driving organic performance through advanced technical assessments, keyword strategy, content optimization, and cross-market SEO execution. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing SEO for Shopify-based ecommerce brands. You will work closely with merchandising, content, and development teams to ensure best-in-class SEO, GEO/AEO, and mobile-first practices across multiple markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits, including crawlability, indexation, site structure, site speed, mobile performance, and redirect mapping.
- Use Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and Google Analytics (GA4) to monitor site health, keyword performance, organic traffic, and conversion trends.
- Perform keyword research focused on apparel categories, seasonal shopping behaviors, and localized search trends across international markets.
- Optimize product detail pages (PDPs), category/collection pages (PLPs), and landing pages for improved visibility, relevance, and conversion rate.
- Support advanced technical SEO initiatives such as structured data implementation (product, reviews, pricing, availability), crawl optimization, and Core Web Vitals improvements.
- Track international domain performance, monitor rankings, and analyze competitor SEO strategies within global apparel markets.
- Collaborate with merchandising, development, and content teams to ensure SEO and GEO/AEO best practices are effectively integrated into site updates and campaigns.
- Create and optimize content formats that are easily consumed by search engines, LLMs, and GenAI systems.
- Build and maintain SEO dashboards and reporting by market, tracking organic traffic, keyword trends, conversions, and revenue impact.
- Provide actionable insights, recommendations, and next steps to stakeholders.
- Stay updated on SEO, GEO/AEO, and ecommerce best practices, particularly related to fashion, seasonality, mobile-first trends, and emerging search behaviors.
2–4 years of hands-on SEO experience, including direct work on Shopify storefronts.
Strong technical SEO expertise, with a solid understanding of crawlability, indexation, site architecture, structured data, and Core Web Vitals.
Proficiency in Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and Google Analytics (GA4).
Experience in ecommerce and apparel/fashion SEO across multiple markets is preferred.
Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and familiarity with Shopify themes, templates, and development workflows.
Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and the ability to clearly communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
