Senior Product Marketing Manager

Parallels has an immediate vacancy for this role.

Push the boundaries of tech. In your sweatpants.

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Product Marketing Manager to help us change the way the world works, with anytime, anywhere, any-device productivity. (And though we are looking for senior-level here, if you’re intermediate with a strong track record and are ready to take the next step, we want to hear from you!).

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will work with the Parallels Desktop product under the Parallels brand. Key areas of focus will include: elaborating use-cases, strengthening our story, and simplifying our value proposition. Another key priority will be to further enhance our Parallels Desktop growth through our work with the online and channel teams. Your team is global and working across multiple time zones, so a high degree of comfort with remote work and asynchronous collaboration is critical. Understanding the virtualization space and the enterprise developer ecosystem will be a plus.

The top creative and technical minds could work anywhere. So why are so many of them choosing Parallels? Here are three reasons:

  1. This is the moment. It’s an exciting time at Parallels, with strong leadership, a refreshed brand, and a whole new approach to changing the way the world works. We’re at the forefront of a movement, and we want you to ride this wave with us.
  2. We want you to be youToo often, companies tell you about their culture and then expect you to fit it. Our culture is built from the people who work here. We want you to feel safe to be who you are, take risks, and show us what you’ve got.
  3. It’s your world. We know you have a life. We want to be part of it, but not all of it. At Parallels, we’re serious about empowering people to work when, how, and where they want. Couch? Sweatpants? Cool with us. We believe that happy employees mean happy customers. That’s why we hire amazing people and get out of their way.

Sound good so far? Awesome. Let’s talk more about the Senior Product Marketing Manager role and see if we’re destined to be together.

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will:

  • Be the voice of the customer and partner.
  • End-User Audience Strategy: Own the product marketing lifecycle for Prosumers (developers, power users, gamers, lines of business), Small/Mid-Size Businesses and Enterprise buyers. Define personas, identify pain points, and craft the narrative that drives adoption in these audiences partnering with Product Management
  • Partner Audience Strategy: Own the product marketing lifecycle for all RTM to include on-line stores (Parallels and 3rd party), Distribution, Resellers, retail and strategic partnerships. Define personas, identify areas of opportunity to leverage partners for scale and craft the narrative that drives growth in these RTM partnering with on-line sales and marketing and Channel Sales.
  • Translate roadmap and feature capabilities provided by Product management into meaningful messaging for customers, partners & sales.
  • Content for SEO & GEO: Develop content strategies optimized for both traditional Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and emerging Generative Engine Optimization (GEO). Ensure Parallels is the top recommendation in AI-driven discovery engines.
  • Sales & Partner Enablement: Build the "playbooks for success." Create sales tools, battle cards, and presentations that enable our Sales team and Partners to effectively position Parallels Desktop across all audiences.
