Senior Marketing Technology AI Product Manager

Ciklum is looking for a Senior Marketing Technology AI Product Manager to join our team full-time in Canada.

About the role:

As a Senior Marketing Technology AI Product Manager, become a part of a cross-functional development team, engineering experiences of tomorrow. Together, we will work on the project supports the development, launch, and improvement of marketing AI-powered features and products. This role blends product execution with foundational knowledge of AI and machine learning.

Responsibilities:

1. Foundational Product Responsibilities:

• Assist in defining product requirements for AI features
• Help gather and synthesize user insights to guide problem definition
• Own the creation of PRDs, user stories and acceptance criteria
• Support vendor tool assessment to understand if a new vendor meets business requirements
• Participate and help to lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily standups, and cross-team reviews
• Help maintain the AI product backlog, ensuring tasks are clearly defined and prioritized
• Monitor progress toward milestones and flag risks or dependencies
• Support documentation, release notes, and launch readiness planning

2. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with marketing, engineering and designers to support product development
• Support data collection, and evaluation cycles

3. Data & amp; Model Understanding (Foundational)

• Have a working understanding of machine learning concepts (accuracy, training data, model behavior)
• Assist in tracking basic AI performance metrics

5. User Feedback & amp; Quality Monitoring 

• Gather user input to understand how AI features are performing
• Help identify issues related to accuracy, hallucinations, latency, or UX friction
• Assist in coordinating bug triage and feature improvements

6. Responsible AI Awareness

• Support compliance with responsible AI principles such as fairness, transparency, and data privacy
• Escalate concerns when model outputs appear biased or misleading

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess a mix of technical curiosity and core product management skills:

• Foundational AI Knowledge: A working understanding of machine learning concepts, including model behavior, training data, and accuracy
• Product Delivery: Proven ability to synthesize user insights, define acceptance criteria, and manage launch readiness
• Analytical Skills: Experience in tracking performance metrics and coordinating bug triage for model outputs
• Vendor Assessment: Capability to evaluate third-party tools against business requirements
• Ethical Oversight: Awareness of "Responsible AI" to identify and escalate biased or misleading model outputs
