Our client, a global leader in digital payments and commerce solutions, is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to support the implementation and execution of marketing programs and partnership initiatives for merchant and cobrand partners. This role will focus on driving revenue and portfolio growth through integrated, insight-led marketing strategies.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on marketing leader with strong merchant or cobrand domain expertise and proven program management experience. This individual will deliver complex, multichannel initiatives spanning digital, social, sponsorship, and experiential marketing while ensuring brand alignment, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence in a highly matrixed environment.

- Location: Remote within the U.S. (San Francisco area preferred). Occasional travel to San Francisco may be required for remote candidates.
- Duration: Through September 2026 with the possibility of extension (must be able to work on Blend’s W2)

What you’ll do:
- Lead the end-to-end execution of marketing strategies across the customer lifecycle (acquisition, usage, retention, loyalty).
- Plan and execute experiential events and manage sponsorship programs from strategy through activation and performance measurement.
- Oversee integrated, multichannel campaigns across paid social, search, email, direct mail, web, and experiential channels.
- Partner cross-functionally with internal teams and agency partners to manage day-to-day priorities and deliver high-quality programs.
- Apply data insights and market research to inform strategy, optimize performance, and deliver executive-ready reporting.
- Align internal stakeholders around partner priorities to ensure seamless execution and strong partner satisfaction.
- Ensure all marketing materials adhere to brand standards, regulatory requirements, and partner guidelines.
- Lead project status meetings with cross-functional teams (Legal, Creative, Finance, Sales) to monitor progress, mitigate risks, and maintain delivery timelines.
- Manage day-to-day interactions with partners and agencies, including reviews and approvals of campaign deliverables.
- Own program timelines, budgets, vendor management, and performance reporting across multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Continuously monitor campaign effectiveness and recommend optimizations to support sustained portfolio growth.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA or similar) preferred.
- 9+ years of relevant marketing experience (or equivalent advanced degree pathway).
- Strong background in merchant marketing, co-brand credit card marketing, partner marketing, or payments marketing.
- Proven success in executing multichannel marketing campaigns across the full marketing lifecycle.
- Demonstrated experience managing sponsorship programs and experiential marketing activations end-to-end.
- Experience working in highly matrixed organizations and cross-functional environments.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Technical & Functional Skills
- Strong project and program management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Experience coordinating with external partners such as large merchants and cobrand issuers.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
- Strong understanding of brand governance, legal review processes, and campaign compliance requirements.

The starting pay range for this role is $60.00 - $65.00 per hour. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on several factors including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, certifications, training, and location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range and determining factors for compensation are considered for each individual circumstance.
