Our Team
Dandelion Health was founded in 2020 by experts in health tech, hospital systems, academia, and clinical AI. We are building the world’s largest AI training and clinical development platform. Today, we pride ourselves on our ability to make data access as easy as possible for AI developers, pharma, and medical devices, while raising the bar for patient safety and data quality. Tomorrow, we will be the place where any healthcare organization can go to build a responsible clinical AI product. Our culture is all about learning from data and improving, so we can help our clients improve health through AI. Meet the rest of our team here.
Our Data
We partner with health systems to safely and ethically make their de-identified patient data available to AI developers. Currently, the data is acquired from Sharp HealthCare, Sanford Health, and Texas Health Resources – with two additional U.S. health systems joining soon.
We have clinical data dating back to July 1, 2016. This data represents over 10 million patients and includes but is not limited to:
Structured data (e.g., 100% of the EMR, including some claims)
Unstructured text (e.g., clinical notes, radiology reports)
Images (e.g., DICOM, pathology)
Video
Waveforms
Continuous streaming monitoring data
You are an ambitious and versatile Senior Marketing Manager - and our first dedicated marketing hire. This is a rare opportunity to build the marketing function from the ground up at an early-stage company doing consequential work at the intersection of clinical data and AI.
You will report directly to the CEO, giving you high visibility into the business and a seat at the table where strategy is set. You are not afraid to get your hands dirty: you will set the direction and execute against it, often in the same week.
Your three primary responsibilities are: (i) grow awareness and demand for Dandelion's clinical data platform among life sciences and AI developer audiences, (ii) build the content and thought leadership engine that establishes Dandelion as the definitive voice in clinical AI data, and (iii) create the marketing infrastructure - processes, tooling, and measurement - that scales with the business.
You will orchestrate marketing initiatives across the organization, partnering closely with Business Development, Product, and our Clinical Informatics team. You will also manage third-party agencies and vendors, holding them accountable to quality and timelines while staying hands-on yourself.
Content & Thought Leadership: Build and manage a content calendar spanning whitepapers, blog posts, case studies, conference presentations, webinars, and social media; position Dandelion as the leading voice on responsible clinical AI data
Marketing Operations & Analytics: Stand up and manage marketing tooling (CRM integration, marketing automation, attribution); define KPIs, build dashboards, and use data to drive decisions and report progress to leadership
Agency & Vendor Management: Source, onboard, and manage external agencies and freelancers for design, content, PR, and other specialist needs; ensure consistent brand voice and quality across all outputs
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Business Development to support pipeline generation — developing materials, campaigns, and programs that help the BD team engage and convert target accounts in the life sciences and AI developer space; work with Product to translate technical capabilities into compelling narratives for target audiences
Brand & Positioning: Refine and steward Dandelion's brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity as the company grows and our product evolves
Events & Conferences: Identify and prioritize industry events; manage sponsorships, speaking opportunities, and Dandelion's presence on the ground
Marketing Strategy: As our first marketing hire, help define what the function looks like at Dandelion — building the playbook, not just running it

Excellent written and verbal communication skills — you can write compelling copy and present clearly to the executive team
Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
