We seek an experienced and collaborative Sr. Marketing Communications Manager to champion the North American Point of Care portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in marketing communications, marketing strategy, digital marketing, agency account management, combined with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. A background in healthcare and expertise in digital marketing is highly preferred. This role requires a strategic thinker who can craft compelling messaging, create and manage multi-channel campaigns, and partner cross-functionally to drive engagement and growth.

This role is ideal for an experienced marketing communications professional ready to take the next step in their career and will report to the Head of NAM Marketing. As a Sr. Marketing Communications Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping digital marketing strategy, driving operational excellence, and enabling business growth across our North American Point of Care (POC) portfolio.  You will collaborate closely with marketing teams to drive the creation and execution of content/digital marketing strategy, communication plans, messaging, and collateral for the Point of Care North American Primary Care, Critical Care, and Informatics portfolios.

You will serve as a strategic partner to product and marketing leaders, translating business objectives into integrated and effective communications programs that elevate our brand, engage customers, and support revenue goals. This position will not have direct reports.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Marketing & Positioning

  • Partner closely with North American and Global product and marketing managers to understand priorities, identify opportunities, and recommend high-impact communication strategies, plans, and channels.
  • Lead the development of clear, differentiated product positioning and messaging for new and existing offerings.
  • Build and optimize digital customer journeys, including content strategy, campaign architecture, and channel activation.

Digital Marketing & Campaign Operations

  • Develop and execute integrated digital marketing strategy and own the execution of campaigns across web, email, social, paid media, and account-based marketing (ABM), ensuring on-time delivery, brand consistency, and measurable performance.
  • Own and manage DemandBase, overseeing ABM segmentation, targeting, optimization, and analytics.
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide data-driven insights, making agile, real-time adjustments to improve effectiveness and ROI.
  • Maintain and update website content and manage vanity URLs to support marketing initiatives and enhance user experience.
  • Lead and measure the MQL to SQL process.

Content Development & Collateral Management

  • Lead the creation and maintenance of marketing collateral—brochures, spec sheets, sales tools, training materials—for all North America POC solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal Creative Services teams, external agencies, and production partners to bring concepts to life from initial brief to final execution.
  • Manage the full project lifecycle, including creative direction, cross-functional alignment, legal and regulatory approval, and production.
  • Localize, review, and route Canadian marketing materials as needed.

Quality Control, Analytics & Process Excellence

  • Evaluate the quality, impact, and ROI of communications initiatives and present metrics-based recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Oversee all collateral approvals through the QR7 process, ensuring compliant, high-quality deliverables.
  • Own and maintain a monthly Digital Marketing performance dashboard with insights on actions to take to drive continuous improvement, channel shift, etc.
  • Manage non-web lead processing (tradeshows, webinars, etc.), and ensure web leads are properly routed, tracked, and reported through the CRM.

KOL Engagement, Events, & Cross-Functional Support

  • Build and maintain a US Key Opinion Leader speaker bureau including identification, onboarding and scheduling of speakers and engagements.
  • Support North America POC trade shows of all sizes, including materials management, promotions, and onsite readiness.
  • Contribute to portfolio-level initiatives (e.g., Healthineers-wide programs) and support Public Relations efforts when required.
  • Maintain updated POC Sales Briefcases with current content across Critical Care/Blood Gas, Primary Care, and Informatics.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business administration, advertising, or related field required.
  • Master’s degree preferred.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in marketing, marketing communications, or advertising, with a proven record of delivering impactful results.
  • Experience in healthcare, medical device, and/or diagnostics preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in leading impactful content strategy, integrated marketing, digital marketing, ABM, advertising, and sales force communications.
  • Experience with managing and utilizing Marketing automation platforms.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including editing, proofreading, and message development with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to provide clear, strategic creative direction and constructive feedback to internal and external creative teams.
  • Strong project management capabilities, including timeline development, stakeholder communication, and on-time execution.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously—from strategy development to tactical activation.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and customer-focused mindset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.

The base pay range for this position is:

$123,120 - $169,290

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
