Senior Manager, Marketing Operations - United States

This role is Remote, United States

SR. MANAGER, CAMPAIGN OPERATIONS

The Sr. Manager, Campaign Operations leads the global campaign execution function — a four-person team across three regions, the platforms they build in, and the standards that ensure campaigns are executed in a timely, accurate and effective manner.

The role owns campaign project management, execution quality, database reachability, and marketing compliance across the Americas, EMEA, and APJ. It reports to the head of Marketing Operations alongside GTM process operations and marketing analytics. The team is in place and delivering; what is missing is the connective layer — an optimized intake and prioritization model, one campaign QA bar, and AI-assisted workflows that have moved past individual experiments.

✦  In this role you will...

Global campaign execution and quality

✦ Own campaign execution and QA across the Americas, EMEA, and APJ, balancing regional autonomy against global standards — regions should be able to move fast without inventing their own process.

✦ Run campaign operations project management: intake, scoping, sequencing, and delivery against demand generation and field marketing calendars.

✦ Optimize and enforce the existing intake and prioritization model that governs how work reaches the team, and communicate clearly what is being built, what is queued, and what is not happening.

Campaign strategy support

✦ Set the standard for campaign strategy support the team provides to demand generation, field, product, customer, and partner marketing.

✦ Own operational support for global campaigns across regions, including audience build, orchestration, and measurement of what ran.

Platforms and the campaign stack

✦ Own the platforms that deliver campaigns and content experiences, and partner on the marketing automation platform underneath them — Marketo, Reachdesk, PathFactory, Goldcast, and adjacent tools.

✦ Maintain regional platform ownership across the team, with a clear primary owner and a documented backup for each system.

✦ Partner with GTM process operations on the integration layer and on system decisions that change how campaigns are built.

Lead scoring, database health, and compliance

✦ Collaborate with GTM process operations on lead scoring design, including behavioral inputs, engagement signals, and campaign-level scoring logic.

✦ Hold accountability for marketing database health: segmentation integrity, suppression logic, engagement data, and the standards that keep them reliable.

✦ Own marketing compliance across three regions — consent, privacy, and data handling — and make sure regional requirements are built into campaign templates rather than caught in review.

Performance insight and AI-assisted workflow

✦ Deliver campaign performance insights back to the business: what ran, what worked, and what the team will do differently.

✦ Refine and iterate UTM standards in partnership with marketing analytics team. Enforce consistency of UTM parameter usage across campaigns.

✦ Partner with marketing analytics so campaign data feeds reporting cleanly and definitions match across teams.

✦ Scale AI-assisted workflow development from individual experiments into a standard operating practice across all three regions.

Team leadership

✦ Lead, coach, and develop four operations professionals across three time zones, including two senior specialists.

✦ Set the team's operating cadence — planning, capacity, prioritization, and how quality is measured.

✦ Develop regional specialists into broader operations owners and define what growth looks like on this team.

✦ You've got what it takes if you've got...

✦ 6+ years in campaign, marketing, or revenue operations, including experience leading people or a global workstream.

✦ Deep hands-on expertise in a marketing automation platform — build, QA, segmentation, and troubleshooting.

✦ Experience supporting marketing across multiple regions and time zones, and a feel for where global standards help and where they get in the way.

✦ Hands-on experience with content experience, direct mail, webinar platforms and ABM programming.

✦ A track record of running campaign intake and prioritization against more demand than capacity.

✦ Working knowledge of marketing compliance requirements across regions.

✦ Experience partnering with analytics on campaign measurement and data quality.

PREFERRED

✦ Customer marketing, advocacy, or partner communications operations exposure.

✦ Applied use of AI in campaign workflows, and a point of view on where it belongs.

✦ Experience managing a distributed team across three or more time zones.

✦ Lead scoring or lifecycle design experience.
