Job Summary
Brello Health is seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Director of Performance Marketing to lead and scale our end-to-end performance marketing function. This senior leadership role will be responsible for setting the vision, strategy, and execution roadmap across all paid and digital acquisition channels.
Reporting to the VP of Ecommerce, this leader will oversee and develop a high-performing team, driving data-informed decision-making, optimizing customer acquisition, and maximizing ROI across the funnel. This individual will serve as the organization’s primary authority on performance marketing, partnering cross-functionally to accelerate growth, improve efficiency, and elevate overall marketing effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Paid Media Scaling: This person will own and scale paid advertising across all platforms — Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Google, Vibe, Reddit, and emerging channels. They will lead a team responsible for campaign strategy, execution, and optimization
Platform Strategy & Output: This person will set the strategic direction for how we show up and scale across each platform. They will define channel-specific playbooks, oversee testing frameworks, and ensure the team is maximizing output and efficiency across every dollar spent. We need someone who stays ahead of where platforms are going — not just where they are today
Content Ideation & Creative Strategy: This person will lead the creative strategy behind performance content. This is not a platform marketer — this is a true marketer who understands great ideas, strong messaging, and compelling creative drive performance. They will partner closely with the Senior Director of Brand Marketing to ensure content is both effective and on brand
Performance Tracking & Reporting: This person will build and own the performance marketing scorecard. They will define the metrics that matter across every channel, establish reporting cadences, and ensure leadership has clear, accurate visibility into what is working, what isn't, and what's next
Multi-Product Scaling: This person will lead the strategy for scaling performance marketing across new and existing product lines. As we expand our portfolio, they will build frameworks that allow the team to efficiently launch, test, and scale new products without sacrificing performance on core SKUs
Cross-Collaboration with Brand: This person will serve as the senior performance marketing partner to the Senior Director of Brand Marketing. They will align on content pipelines, messaging, and creative briefs to ensure performance and brand are operating in lockstep
What We Require
10–15+ years of performance marketing experience, with at least 4–5 years managing multi-function teams at a senior level
Demonstrated experience building and leading teams — hiring, developing, and holding people accountable
Has personally managed a minimum of $20M in annual paid media spend — this is a hard requirement. We are a scaled business and need someone who has operated at this level or above
Deep expertise in paid media across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Google, Reddit, Vibe, and emerging platforms — with a track record of identifying and scaling new channels before they become obvious
This cannot be a platform operator who learned to manage people — we need a true marketer who understands consumer psychology, messaging, and creative strategy at a high level
Strong financial literacy this person must understand unit economics, contribution margin, CAC, LTV, MER and payback periods as well as understanding marketing principles. They need to be able to sit in a financial review and hold their own. They should make decisions based on capital efficiency and profitability not just platform performance
We need someone who thinks in terms of margin and business outcomes
Proven ability to evaluate, test, and scale emerging and non-traditional platforms — we need someone who acts ahead of the curve, not behind it
Strong business acumen managing budgets, building scorecards, and reporting to leadership with clear metrics for success
A structured manager who builds department cadences, establishes clear ownership, and removes ambiguity for their team
Extremely strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire, align, and elevate a team
A strategic operator who can translate business growth goals into structured team priorities, clear OKRs, and accountable execution
Must be comfortable having uncomfortable conversations and holding team members accountable
Genuine interest in longevity, health, and wellness
What We Offer
Full benefits package including medical, vision, dental, 401(k) with company match, PTO, Flex days, holidays, and more!
