Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Channel Marketing Manager to join the Electrical Wiring Systems Division Team. This role leads strategic channel marketing initiatives across distribution and strategic partner accounts, collaborating closely with Sales, Marketing Communications, Product Management, Training, Finance, and key customers.
The ideal candidate brings strong strategic thinking, deep channel marketing expertise, fluency in channel systems and analytics, and a proven ability to influence stakeholders, prioritize initiatives, manage complex programs, and deliver measurable business impact.
What Will You Do?
Overall
- Develop and implement national and account-specific channel marketing programs using a full marketing mix including in-store merchandising, digital channel programs, events, promotions, incentives, and loyalty initiatives.
- Build and strengthen sales enablement tools, processes, and communication programs that improve sales efficiency and unlock more active selling time for field teams.
- In partnership with Legrand Account Managers, conduct joint business planning with strategic channel partners by aligning marketing programs to revenue goals and shared business priorities.
- Contribute to channel marketing budget planning, MDF/Co-Op allocation and optimization across partners and marketing mix elements.
- Use customer journey insights, category trends, and data analysis to align marketing initiatives with sales objectives, revenue goals, and account business plans.
- Gather voice-of-customer and partner insights through direct feedback, field collaboration, surveys and channel touchpoints to inform program strategy and continuous improvement of channel initiatives.
- Partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, Account Managers, Key Customers, and Senior Leadership to drive shared outcomes and influence decision-making across the organization.
- Deliver exceptional project management—ensuring all programs are launched on time, within budget, and aligned to brand guidelines and governance.
New Product Introduction
- Serve as a core member of Residential and Commercial product launch teams, ensuring products enter the channel ready to sell with compelling programs, clear positioning, and strong visibility.
- Create launch programs that accelerate adoption, seed early demand, and support channel readiness.
- Coordinate cross-functional readiness, data accuracy, merchandising, and communication to ensure clean, complete product activation across accounts.
Merchandising: Digital & In‑Store Programs
- In‑Store: Lead the strategy and execution of in-store merchandising programs—including POP, planograms, displays, and promotional materials—to maximize product visibility, optimize display cost and build efficiency, and enhance brand presence.
- Online: Drive digital channel excellence by partnering with customers, Sales, and external agencies to improve online storefront experiences, product data accuracy, enriched content, paid advertising programs, SEO visibility, and performance dashboards.
- Ensure strong fluency with channel technologies including PIM, DAM, CRM, and partner marketing portals to optimize product data flow, syndication, and accuracy.
Tradeshow & Event Management
- Lead planning and execution for major industry trade shows, including end-to-end experience design, messaging development, vendor management, and post-show follow-up strategies.
- Oversee strategy and execution for large-scale National Sales Conferences or similar events (in-person and virtual), ensuring alignment to business priorities and maximizing attendee engagement.
- Implement scalable processes and tools to simplify field-led regional events.
Channel Incentives, Loyalty & Promotions
- Lead the strategy, design and optimization of channel loyalty programs that increase partner engagement, repeat purchases, and long-term brand affinity.
- Develop and execute promotional campaigns—including incentives, rewards, SPIFFs, and bundled offers—to accelerate sell-through and strengthen distributor partnerships.
- Ensure compliance, budget accuracy, and transparent reporting for all incentive and promotional programs.
- Develop program structures, tiering models, and performance thresholds that motivate channel partners and end customers, driving measurable revenue impact.
- Collaborate with Finance and Sales on incentive program design, scenario modeling, forecasting, and performance payouts.
Project & Vendor Management; Performance Analysis
- Oversee end-to-end program planning, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and milestones for assigned channels and accounts.
- Identify process improvements and efficiency opportunities across channel efforts and implement cost-saving enhancements.
- Manage vendor relationships, ensuring high-quality execution, negotiated cost efficiencies, and on-time delivery of marketing assets.
- Conduct performance analysis using quantitative and qualitative data; translate insights into actionable recommendations for stakeholders and leadership.
- Build and maintain KPI dashboards and quarterly business review reporting to measure program effectiveness.

Required Education & Experience
- BA in Marketing, Communications, Business or related fields.
- 8–12 years of channel marketing or marketing communications experience in a product distribution environment.
- Broad marketing expertise across digital, content, brand, product marketing, events, analytics, and channel enablement.
- Experience leading, coaching, or mentoring team members, with the opportunity for future direct‑report management as the organization evolves.

Preferred Qualifications
- Direct people management experience; ability to mentor marketing team members.
- Experience working within reseller, distributor and/or retailer channel sales models.
- Strong analytical capability with ability to extract insights from campaign performance data.
- Proven ability to think strategically while executing tactically.
- Comfortable leading meetings with Sales Leadership and customers.
- Familiarity with MDF/Co-Op programs, ROI tracking, and partner marketing platforms.
- Experience driving change management and scaling best practices across teams.
Working Conditions
- Regularly required to sit, type, and manage tasks requiring finger dexterity.
- Domestic travel ~20% for events, customer visits, and business reviews.
