ICF is a consulting firm with a large, independent marketing agency comprised of a team of communications professionals. Within this team is a marketing group that supports energy clients through strategy, advertising, and other services to promote energy solutions—primarily focused on energy efficiency. This team produces award-winning work that changes behavior and helps individuals, communities, and the environment. We help our clients and communities use less energy, save money, and protect the environment through marketing and outreach initiatives.
This is an entry-level, on-call position that is expected to begin in January 2026. Anticipated hours per week are 20, but may vary based on overall business needs. This position is fully-remote, but selected individual may be expected to attend occasional meetings or events that are generally in the Atlanta area. Pay is $23 per hour.
What you will be doing:
The Marketing Coordinator will be part of the energy marketing team, which conducts all aspects of marketing, including advertising, strategic planning, research, social media, events, outreach, and partnerships. To implement campaigns, the team collaborates with a 150-person creative and media services group.
This position will support the marketing and outreach teams by planning and managing efforts for trade shows, conferences, events, volunteer initiatives and team meetings. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential.
Reporting to the Senior Marketing Specialist, this position will support the execution of outreach and marketing activities that directly contribute to client and partner engagement and satisfaction. You’ll work closely with the Marketing Account Director and Senior Marketing Specialist to ensure smooth coordination of events, materials, and communications. You will also assist in developing and executing email campaigns to promote hosted and attended events.
Key Responsibilities
Planning and managing marketing efforts for trade shows, conferences, events, and meetings
Maintaining an inventory and directory of marketing materials while coordinating new material creation as needed
Shipping marketing materials to staff across the utility service territory
Managing costs within event budgets
Communicating with program, account, and creative teams to ensure timely completion of tasks
Managing and coordinating tasks outsourced to external vendors, such as printing companies and event locations
Working with procurement to get vendor contracts signed and ensure timely payment
Developing timelines and ensuring deadlines are met
Tracking event performance and compiling post-event reports to inform future planning
What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):
At least 60 college-level course credit hours completed, with a degree focus in Marketing, Communications, Business or closely related field.
What we would like you to have:
Interest in energy efficiency, utility, or public sector programs
Experience working in an advertising agency and/or on a marketing account
Experience working in a multi-tasking environment
Experience working with remote teams and coordinating logistics across geographies
Comfort with light physical tasks (e.g., lifting boxes of materials for events)
Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Microsoft Customer Journey and Insights, or similar)
Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities
Creative thinker with a positive attitude who enjoys challenges and finding solutions
Ability to work independently, seek help as needed, and contribute to team and company culture
Working knowledge of computers and online tools, including MS Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$34,392.00 - $58,466.00Georgia Remote Office (GA99)
