The ideal candidate will manage and execute automated marketing campaigns, qualify inbound leads for sales, develop content and collaborate with our overall marketing team in other areas as defined below.

The Sales & Marketing Specialist will join our dynamic and award-winning team and will be responsible for blending traditional B2B and digital marketing tactics towards measurable goals.

This position will be responsible for marketing our products into public sector organizations within the US and Canada. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Nurture leads through the sales cycle using Marketo and Salesforce, including organizing and executing email campaigns with a timeline of content and impactful calls-to-action
  • Coordinate trade show participation, including timelines, registration, booth logistics, sponsorship deliverables, shipping, staffing schedules, pre-event promotion, and post-event follow-up
  • Support planning and execution of major customer and industry events, including AssetWorks Academy, user conferences, customer meetings, and regional events
  • Develop and manage event project plans, timelines, task lists, and cross-functional communications to ensure deliverables stay on track
  • Prepare and organize event materials, including booth assets, signage, collateral, presentations, attendee lists, promotional items, and digital follow-up content
  • Manage webinar calendar and promotion plan with stakeholders, including content specialists and subject matter experts
  • Research and develop industry thought leadership content, including blogs, white papers, infographics, and videos
  • Act as lead on all website inquiries, responding to contact requests and real-time website interactions in a timely and efficient manner
  • Develop relevant and meaningful value-proposition messaging for technology products and services
  • Manage customer newsletter calendar and deploy customer communications in collaboration with product team
  • Manage and prepare lead lists from trade show and digital advertising programs
  • Perform market research to support growth of initiative products and emerging markets, this may include direct outreach, if needed
  • Assign qualified leads to outside sales in Salesforce based on territory and product interest
  • Provide analytics on campaign performance using Marketo analytics tools
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales leadership to identify the most appropriate methods for distributing content
  • Assist with non-digital marketing activities as needed, including annual AssetWorks Academy users conference and promotion of trade shows and customer events
  • Proactively source new prospective opportunities through AI-driven business development, clearly outlining account snapshots, buying signals, key stakeholders, strategic priorities, potential entry points, and fit assessment against our ideal customer profile (ICP)

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Marketing, Communications, or Business Management preferred. The position requires:

  • 3-5 years of marketing experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Effective listening, communication (verbal and written) and problem-solving skills
  • Successful time management and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Team player who works productively across different departments/teams 
  • Ability to present confidently to wide range of stakeholders, including executive leadership 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with CRM (Salesforce) and marketing automation software (Marketo) preferred
  • Some travel required, estimated at 10% of the time
