POSITION SUMMARY

As the Sales Enablement and Marketing Business Partner, you will have two critical workstreams.

You will serve as the bridge between Apprenti’s Business Development, Product and Marketing Teams and our external partners.  You will oversee and activate all outbound sales campaigns through Salesforce’s Marketing Cloud in collaboration with our National Sales Leader and our Marketing Team. You will serve as the Sales Team’s partner to help define and move marketing requests to production through the Marketing Team.

This role is critical to ensuring our marketing and sales efforts are aligned with our Big Bets and focused on results.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive Strategy Alignment: Proactively identify and diagnose marketing and sales enablement gaps across the business development and product teams, translating them into actionable strategies.
  • Marketing Request Vetting & Qualifying: Serve as the primary gatekeeper for marketing requests, vetting and qualifying them against business objectives to ensure resources are focused on high-impact activities.
  • Capture Customer Voice: Collaborate with stakeholders to capture the customer voice through case studies and PR initiatives highlighting apprentice pipeline success.
  • Optimize Sales Readiness: Ensure that the sales team is fully equipped to go to market by leading collateral distribution, training, and sales enablement material development.
  • Execute Campaigns & Compliance: Drive the end-to-end execution of sales campaigns, ensuring they run on schedule and meet compliance requirements.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6+ years of professional experience in B2B marketing, sales enablement, or business development (10+ years preferred)
  • Proficiency in CRM and CRM marketing tools  to manage sales campaigns and understand sales cycles, forecasting, and methodologies. (Salesforce and Marketing Cloud Experience Preferred)
  • Proven track record of managing cross-functional projects among internal and external stakeholders, and closing go-to-market gaps.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience presenting effectively to executive stakeholders, key decision-makers, and senior leaders.
  • Deep understanding of workforce development, education, or tech sectors
  • Balanced strategic thinking with high attention to detail, including the ability to increase speed-to-market using AI toolsets effectively and responsibly.
  • Proven ability to drive alignment of both external and internal stakeholders in a complex operational environment. 
  • Self-motivated with a high level of integrity, trustworthiness, and initiative to operate effectively in a remote environment during standard business hours.
  • Ability to travel 20%  for sales and community outreach events. 


WHAT WE OFFER

Apprenti pays a gross annualized base salary range for this position between $90,000 to $120,000 Placement within this range is determined by the candidate's qualifications, skills and relevant experience. In addition, this role’s  compensation includes variable commissions for target achievement.

PHYSICAL DUTIES & WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Operates remotely within a predominantly digital workspace.
  • Capable of remaining seated or standing at a workstation for prolonged durations.
  • Proficient in utilizing both macOS and Windows OS operating environments across diverse organizational software platforms.
  • Available to conduct regular phone and video meetings with internal and external partners.
  • Occasional travel up to 10% may be requested for major functions and onsite team gatherings, though not mandatory.
