About the Role
An established organization is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to lead strategic marketing initiatives, oversee team operations, and drive the development and execution of comprehensive marketing plans. Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute marketing strategies that support organizational objectives and growth targets.
- Identify market opportunities by analyzing consumer needs, competitive landscapes, and emerging trends.
- Contribute to strategic planning by providing insights, recommendations, and data‑driven analysis.
Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, train, mentor, and manage marketing team members.
- Set clear expectations, conduct performance reviews, and support professional development.
- Oversee team scheduling, workload distribution, and operational alignment.
Operational & Financial Management
- Prepare and manage annual marketing budgets, forecast resource needs, and monitor expenditures.
- Analyze financial variances and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure marketing operations meet productivity, quality, and customer‑service standards.
Campaign & Product Support
- Improve product marketability and profitability by identifying opportunities for new product development, packaging enhancements, and positioning strategies.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support product launches and ongoing marketing initiatives.
Data & Insights
- Collect, analyze, and summarize market data to inform decision‑making.
- Monitor performance metrics and provide regular reporting on marketing effectiveness.
General Responsibilities
- Maintain organized, confidential records and documentation.
- Support the organization’s mission by completing related tasks and contributing to broader business initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Proven experience developing marketing strategies and managing marketing operations.
- Strong leadership skills with experience recruiting, training, and managing marketing teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, forecast needs, and analyze financial performance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and work independently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related tools.
