ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager to lead the go-to-market strategy for Clearwater’s Insurance and Asset Owner segment, with a primary focus on our core middle- and back-office investment accounting and reporting platform.

This role owns how Clearwater’s accounting, data, and reporting capabilities are positioned, packaged, and brought to market for insurers, pension funds, asset owners, and corporates globally. You will translate complex product capabilities into clear, differentiated value for investment operations, finance, risk, and executive stakeholders.

You will partner closely with Product Management, Sales, Client Services, and the broader Marketing team to drive adoption, pipeline, and expansion.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Product & Segment Positioning

  • Own positioning and messaging for Clearwater’s middle- and back-office accounting platform for Insurance and Asset Owners

  • Clearly articulate Clearwater’s differentiation across investment accounting, data integrity, regulatory reporting, valuations, and scale

  • Develop segment-specific narratives that resonate with COOs, Heads of Investment Operations, and Finance and accounting

Go-to-Market Strategy & Execution

  • Lead GTM planning for new capabilities and major releases relevant to Insurance and Asset Owners

  • Translate product roadmaps into customer-ready value propositions, use cases, and launch assets

  • Partner with Brand, Demand Gen, and Field Marketing to activate global segment-specific programs

Sales & Client Enablement

  • Equip Sales and Client Services with messaging, pitch decks, solution briefs, and competitive positioning.

  • Support strategic deals, renewals, and executive conversations with tailored product narratives.

Market & Customer Insight

  • Develop a deep understanding of insurance and asset owner investment operations, regulatory environments, and buyer dynamics

  • Gather and synthesize customer feedback, competitive intelligence, and market trends

  • Represent validated market needs back to Product Management to inform roadmap priorities

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

  • 8+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Product Strategy, or related roles in fintech, investment technology, or B2B SaaS
  • Strong domain experience in investment accounting, regulatory reporting, valuations, performance, or investment data platforms
  • Experience supporting insurance companies, pensions, asset owners, or corporates
  • Proven ability to translate complex products into compelling market narratives
  • Strong executive communication and cross-functional influence skills
  • BA/BS required

Salary Range

$130,000.00 - $165,000.00 + bonus

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health/vision/dental insurance, 401(k), PTO, parental leave, and medical leave, STD/LTD insurance benefits.
