The Mission

We are seeking a Principal Product Marketing Lead—a seasoned, visionary product marketer and expert storyteller—to drive the go-to-market (GTM) for Atlan’s core platform and offerings.

This is a critical, high-impact role. You will be the chief architect of Atlan's strategic narrative, responsible for shaping our identity in an evolving category and ensuring our message is compelling, differentiated, and consistently delivered across every customer touchpoint. Your mission is to ignite innovation and orchestrate impactful product launches that set new industry benchmarks. You will report directly to the VP of Product & Corporate Marketing.

What You’ll Do

1. Architect Strategic Platform Narratives

  • Own the Core Story: Define, develop, and own the core messaging and positioning (including personas, proof points, and hooks) for Atlan's overall platform, Tier 1 product launches, and key GTM campaigns/events.

  • Narrative Products: Create and maintain scalable narrative products (e.g., messaging guides, playbooks) that can be easily used by anyone in the company—from Sales to Content—to ensure all content and experiences are flawlessly on-message.

2. Drive Deep Market Insight & Messaging

  • Punch Above Our Weight: Lead rapid, continuous learning through qualitative and quantitative research to maintain a deep understanding of our personas (with varying technical understanding) and the evolving data/AI market.

  • Differentiated Storytelling: Use research and creative thinking to craft stand-out messaging and positioning for a wide range of platform solutions, translating complex concepts into simple, powerful, and differentiated market value.

3. Lead Cross-Functional GTM Execution

  • Orchestrate Launches & Campaigns: Design and execute the Go-To-Market for major events, campaigns, product launches, and programs.

  • Creative Partnership: Actively participate in creative ideation with the Design team and collaborate closely with the Content team on copywriting to ensure the highest quality, on-message content and experiences are delivered across all channels.

  • Sales Enablement: Design and deliver high-impact enablement programs to ensure the field team is well-prepared and fluent in the core strategic narratives.

  • Professional Expertise: You are an excellent product marketer with 4+ years of product marketing experience in a B2B SaaS environment, and 8+ overall years of professional experience, demonstrating success in driving growth.

  • Mental Horsepower & Creativity: You possess the mental horsepower to learn rapidly about complex, evolving categories (Data, AI) and demonstrate exceptional creative thinking skills to develop breakthrough, stand-out messaging and positioning.

  • Captivating Communication: Your communication skills are captivating, effectively conveying complex value propositions with unmatched flair, inspiring action and engagement across internal and external audiences.

  • Ecosystem Experience is a plus: Direct experience is the data & AI ecosystem is highly valued.

  • Collaborative Leadership: Demonstrated ability to cultivate collaborative environments and lead cross-functional projects to resounding success.
