Position Summary:

The Product Marketing Analyst, Demand Generation, is responsible for developing and executing product-focused marketing strategies and integrated campaigns that generate high-quality leads and support sales growth. This role bridges product, marketing, and sales—owning product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market execution with a strong focus on lead generation, Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs), and sales enablement. 

This role conducts research meant to identify potential and existing customers, competitors, and markets for company products. Designs and drafts copy for product-specific data sheets, promotional brochures, advertisements, and social media campaigns. Develops launch plans for new products, and creates and administers strategies for increasing market share of existing products, and assists in retirement and communication planning for product decommissioning. May assist in planning sales promotions or other special events, such as conferences, trade shows, or user meetings.

The Product Marketing Analyst partners closely with Sales to ensure campaigns are customer-centric, data-driven, and aligned to business priorities.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Demand Generation & Campaign Strategy


Develop and execute integrated product marketing campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and lead generation for sales, with a strong focus on MQLs and pipeline contribution.
Partner with Sales leadership to align campaigns to sales priorities, seasonal initiatives, and territory growth strategies.
Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance, lead quality, and conversion metrics; provide actionable insights and optimization recommendations.


Product Positioning & Messaging


Own product positioning, value propositions, and key messaging that clearly articulate customer needs and sales differentiation.
Translate product features into compelling, benefit-driven narratives that resonate with educators and decision-makers.
Ensure consistency and accuracy of product messaging across all marketing and sales channels.


Sales Enablement


Develop and manage sales enablement tools including product sell sheets, email templates, landing pages, and campaign assets.
Partner with Sales to support product promotions, and targeted lead-generation initiatives.
Equip sales teams with messaging, talking points, and competitive insights to support lead conversion.


Content & Channel Execution


Project manage the creation of campaign assets including email marketing, landing pages, digital ads, social content, and event promotions.
Collaborate on paid, organic, and nurture strategies that move prospects through the funnel.
Ensure all content aligns with brand standards, customer voice, and product accuracy (item numbers, pricing, descriptions).


Data, Systems & Optimization


Manage and maintain product marketing data within systems such as NetSuite, CRM, and marketing automation platforms.
Partner cross-functionally to improve lead flow, attribution, and reporting.
Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and evolving demand generation best practices.

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:


Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Education, or related field.
4+ years of experience in product marketing, demand generation, or integrated B2B/B2E marketing.
Proven experience developing campaigns that generate and nurture sales leads.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for persuasive messaging.
Analytical mindset with experience using performance data to optimize campaigns.
Proficiency with CRM and marketing automation tools (HubSpot and Salesforce preferred).
Experience in K–12 education or educational publishing strongly preferred.


Physical Requirements:


Sit for extended periods of time; including at a computer.
Occasional lifting up to 15 lbs.
Repetitive hand and wrist movements for frequent use of computer keyboard and mouse.
