The DuPont™ Personal Protection Tyvek® Garments business is the market leader in chemical protective clothing, serving diverse applications in the industrial, life-sciences, and emergency response segments, with a mission to provide professional workers with trusted personal protection, enabling them to safely accomplish any task from the mundane to the extraordinary. This mission is achieved through producing differentiated finished garments with category-leading brands such as Tyvek®, Tychem®, and ProShield®, a broad distribution network and field support, and customer-driven innovation. The strategic focus for the Tyvek® Garments business is growth via product and service innovation and commercial excellence.

The primary role of the Tyvek® Garments North America Senior Marketing Specialist is to lead and execute high-impact sales and marketing initiatives that drive growth and strengthen our market position. This individual will serve as the project leader for regional sales plays and integrated campaigns, develop marketing insights, and oversee business reporting and point-of-sale data collection and analysis to enhance our market model. The Senior Marketing Specialist will also have channel marketing responsibility for a portfolio of strategic distributors and design and deliver internal training for sales and marketing teams. Success in this role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, proactive project management, and the ability to translate data and insights into actionable strategies. This position offers the opportunity to gain deep expertise in the Tyvek® Garments business, contribute to our go-to-market strategy, and play a pivotal role in advancing our commercial excellence agenda.

Location: Home‑based role. Richmond, VA or Wilmington, DE metro area preferred; open to remote candidates across the U.S. or Canada.

Candidates must be willing to work primarily on an Eastern Time (ET) schedule.

Reporting Manager: North America Marketing Manager, DuPont Personal Protection – Tyvek® Garments

Travel: 10%

Position Duties:

Sales Play Leadership & Challenger Marketing Insights

  • Serve as project leader for North America sales play campaigns – own planning, campaign development cadences, enablement assets, and internal training from kickoff through post-mortem.
  • Develop marketing insights that reframe customer dilemmas (safety, compliance, multi‑threat protection, contamination control, sustainability) and lead to a DuPont solution; translate insights into sales narratives, talk tracks, and objection‑handling sheets.
  • Partner cross-functionally to convert insights into multi-channel content (web, SafeSPEC™, email, events, webinars).
  • Conduct internal and external subject matter expert interviews to assist in development of marketing insights.
  • Stay current on the regional competitive landscape (product claims, pricing signals, distribution motions, sustainability positioning).

Business Reporting: Point-of-Sale (POS) Data Capture & Market Model

  • Define and run POS collection processes with distributor accounts; harmonize formats, cadence, and validation rules to improve market model fidelity.
  • Analyze POS to produce actionable SKU/segment insights (mix, frequency, velocity), detect share shifts, and recommend targeted actions in sales plays and other campaigns.
  • Work with Sales Team to enhance the quality and quantity of our POS data from distributors.
  • Maintain business dashboard in Power BI for cross-functional team.
  • Oversee all rebate processes and provide business support to rebate coordinator.
  • Provide monthly commission reports and approve invoices.
  • Calculate, review, and facilitate year-end rebate values with sales team.

Channel Marketing Support and Internal Training & Enablement

  • Provide channel marketing support for select distributors.
  • Strategize with sales team and distributor contacts on co-op marketing plans for assigned distributor accounts.
  • Execute co-op marketing plans with assigned distributors. Use point-of-sale data and marketing analysis to optimize tactics.
  • Calculate co-op marketing budget for all North America distributors on annual basis.
  • Design and deliver training modules for sales play campaigns, marketing insights messaging, and related.
  • Create enablement collateral (playbooks, battlecards, winning cards, etc.).
  • Conduct miscellaneous marketing support tasks as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA or BS in marketing, business, or related field
  • At least 5 years in marketing, sales, or similar commercial position
  • Demonstrated planning, organization, and project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (both oral and written; strong interpersonal skills)
  • Self-motivated; self-starter; delivers on commitments
  • Strong problem-solving skills and resilience in finding solutions
  • Strong business judgment; comfortable managing, summarizing, and drawing insights from data Strong data analytical skills and ability to organize/communicate data in a meaningful way to business stakeholders.
  • Computer proficiency in various software programs: Microsoft Office especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint; Power BI; Salesforce.com
  • Travel approximately 10%, primarily for key distributor or internal and commercial engagements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA, MA, or MS in marketing, business, or related field (or pursuing MBA, MA, or MS)
  • Experience building insight-led messaging (Challenger or similar)
