Full timeTo advance the purpose of InterVarsity, this position will steward our Marketing Technology and its related processes by communicating with stakeholders and end users, managing vendor relationships, and prioritizing changes to achieve greater value out of the Marketing Technology for the organization.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Personal:
Marketing Technology Leadership:
Serve on the Technology Platform Team to help build a highly effective and unified Technology Platform strategy that clearly understands its purpose within Intervarsity’s mission and objectives.
Execute and maintain the organization’s marketing technology strategy.
Build an effective partnership and gain consistent alignment with Development, Field Leadership, and all of Operations, to be able to strategically lead the organization toward its best use of marketing technology to meet missional needs.
Advise the Technology Leadership on leveraging our current marketing technology to accomplish strategic ministry objectives.
Facilitate transparent communications with leadership. Build trust by establishing and monitoring measures for success and providing regular reports.
In partnership with the Director of Marketing, ensure that marketing technology is effectively implemented and maintained to meet marketing objectives.
Marketing Technology Ownership Responsibilities:
Manage the product lifecycle of all organizational marketing technology. This includes, but is not limited to, MailChimp, Preference Center, Salesforce list management, etc.
Work with teams from Technology Solutions and Technology Operations to ensure an efficient transition from product planning and prioritization to implementation.
Anticipate, influence, and articulate high-level and future-focused needs for our existing marketing technology products.
Develop and maintain targeted roadmaps for our current and future marketing technology products.
Create and maintain consistent business processes to facilitate the prioritization of work with our current Marketing Technology Products.
In partnership with the Director of Technology Platforms, prioritize feature and defect work for InterVarsity’s Marketing Technology products inside the Sprint framework.
Define and measure ROI for the organization's Marketing Technology Products.
In partnership with the Director of Technology Platforms, manage strategic decision-making for Vendor relationships related to our Marketing Technology Platforms.
Collaboration and Communication:
Develop, maintain, and progress partnerships between the Technology Line and the rest of the organization to deliver the greatest value from our current Marketing Technology Products.
Working with major organizational stakeholders to ensure a consistent and efficient feedback loop allows for iterative product and process improvement.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Marketing, or other related degree is required.
Two years of marketing technology products.
