Position Overview

Calero is seeking a Marketing Technologist with 3–5 years of experience in marketing technologies and marketing operations to help build, scale, and optimize our digital marketing infrastructure.

This role sits at the intersection of marketing, technology, and revenue operations and is responsible for executing automated campaigns, managing marketing technology platforms, and ensuring seamless data flow between marketing and sales systems.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement), Salesforce, Unbounce, and WordPress, along with HTML/CSS coding skills for email and landing page development. This person is comfortable working with data, automation logic, integrations, and campaign performance optimization.

Experience with Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies and platforms such as 6sense is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Automation & Campaign Execution

  • Build, deploy, and optimize multi-channel marketing automation campaigns including email programs, nurture tracks, and lifecycle workflows.
  • Configure and maintain Pardot automation rules, engagement studio programs, dynamic lists, scoring models, and segmentation strategies.
  • Manage campaign execution from campaign setup through performance analysis and optimization.

Marketing Technology & Integrations

  • Maintain and optimize the integration between Pardot and Salesforce, ensuring accurate lead flow, campaign attribution, and reporting.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data synchronization, field mapping, and automation issues between marketing and CRM platforms.
  • Collaborate with sales and RevOps to improve lead routing, scoring, and lifecycle management.

Landing Pages & Technical Execution

  • Build and optimize landing pages and forms using Unbounce and WordPress.
  • Develop and modify responsive email templates and landing page components using HTML and CSS.
  • Support form integrations, tracking scripts, and conversion tracking across marketing platforms.

Data, Reporting & Optimization

  • Monitor campaign performance using Salesforce and Pardot reporting dashboards.
  • Conduct A/B testing on emails, landing pages, forms, and nurture programs to improve engagement and conversion rates.
  • Maintain marketing database hygiene, segmentation strategy, and compliance with email marketing standards.

Account-Based Marketing Support

  • Support execution of Account-Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns targeting high-value accounts.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to operationalize ABM programs using platforms such as 6sense or similar intent data platforms.
  • Help manage target account segmentation and engagement tracking.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in marketing automation, marketing operations, or digital marketing technology roles.
  • Hands-on experience with Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement).
  • Experience working within Salesforce CRM for campaign tracking, reporting, and lead management.
  • Proficiency in HTML and CSS for email template and landing page development.
  • Experience building and optimizing landing pages using Unbounce.
  • Experience managing or updating content within WordPress.
  • Strong understanding of lead lifecycle management, segmentation, and nurture strategies.
  • Experience with marketing analytics, campaign reporting, and performance optimization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or a related field.
  • Experience supporting Account-Based Marketing (ABM) initiatives.
  • Familiarity with ABM platforms such as 6sense, Demandbase, Terminus, or similar intent data platforms.
  • Pardot Specialist or Salesforce certifications.
  • Experience working in B2B marketing or SaaS environments.
  • Familiarity with UTM tracking, Google Analytics, and conversion tracking frameworks.
  • Understanding of marketing attribution models and pipeline reporting.

The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $90,000.
