Objective/Scope
This position is responsible for coordinating marketing industry events including conferences, trade shows, and curated AvaSure hosted events. This position is also responsible for creating content and communications for internal and external marketing programs - including social media, customer speaking sessions and promotional material.
Job Functions
- Manage planning and execution of project elements within time frame and budget.
- Manage communication/actions around registration, travel, and programming communication throughout event.
- Develop reporting tools utilizing registration software to gather information on attendee attributes and monitor registrations to aid in developing a strategy for event planning and post-event follow-up.
- Coordinate and participate in venue walk-throughs
- Own event strategy and communicate with cross-functional teams to create an event strategy that meets company goals.
- Proactive approach to handling issues and troubleshooting any emerging issues during the event.
- Use analytical skills to do post event analysis to measure results of event ROI and effectiveness
- Research skills to identify event opportunities, understand the market, and generate interest.
- Develop and execute social media strategy including efficiencies and optimizations within the Marketing team plan.
- Work with our external contractor on creating and executing paid campaigns and tracking success.
- Contribute to content on all of our social media channels (AvaSure.com, Facebook, LinkedIn, & YouTube)
- Create compelling copywriting and edit content for various digital marketing efforts.
- Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to improve website traffic and search engine rankings.
- Collaborate with various teams within the organization to meet marketing objectives and ensure consistent messaging and branding.
- Stay updated with the latest market research, trends, and tools in digital marketing and make proactive recommendations for improvement.
- Identify efficiencies and improvements in our event strategy including participant feedback. Execute improvements after discussion and approval.
- See the "big picture" and develop the strategy to meet objectives in all stages of event planning - project workflow, creative, marketing, production, A/V, vendor management, venue management, programming, etc.

Education and Experience
- A bachelor's degree in marketing or a relevant field is required.
- 2 years of experience in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Event Planning is required.
- Experience working in a healthcare and/or technology industry required.
- Experience with event software and online registration tools such as, Cvent preferred.
- Solid working knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools.
- Highly proficient in MS Office programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Proficient at LinkedIn, Facebook & YouTube is required.
- Experience Marketing Planning, Reporting, and Metrics is required.
Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary Range: $67,000 - $75,000 per year

Bonus Eligibility: Yes, bonus eligible for non-sales roles.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
- Must be able to sit for much of the workday with periodic walking and/or standing.
- Must be able to set up events including lifting tables and chairs.
- Must be able to work in an office or home office environment.
- Must be able to travel to national overnight events by plane, estimated travel for this role is 20-40%.
