Position Overview

The Marketing & Sales Coordinator serves as the operational connection between marketing activities and the sales team. This role supports the company’s marketing, digital communications, social media, brand partner materials, internal communication tools, and emerging technology initiatives. Supports the sales teams and brand partners with marketing and selling tools to ensure execution across multiple departments. The role is pivotal in organizing and executing events that increase engagement and visibility, while managing online platforms. The position requires a dynamic individual who can integrate marketing strategies across various channels and collaborate to achieve cohesive and impactful results.  

This is a Remote position and requires travel (approx. 25%), primarily in the New England and Upstate/Western/Central New York region. Candidates must reside within this region or within a reasonable traveling distance of the region. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage social media platforms to engage with audience and build a strong online presence (i.e. LinkedIn, TikTok, X, Instagram etc.).
  • Maintain and assist with creating content for social media platforms and company websites.
  • Create and maintain marketing materials such as company brochures, presentation decks and sales blasts.
  • Coordinate events and activities to foster industry involvement
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure alignment of marketing goals and company initiatives
  • Assist with onboarding brand partner sales and marketing assets 
  • Assist in development and roll-out of marketing plans across the organization to synchronize adoption of company branding. 
  • Research/investigate emerging digital marketing tools, social media, AI trends and platforms.
  • Attend corporate meetings and tradeshows, as needed.
  • Assist with special projects with other departments. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field or equivalent; and two (2) years of experience in marketing or engagement roles. 
  • Professional experience developing digital marketing, social media strategies, and content creation
  • Proficiency required in Microsoft Office 365 applications including PowerPoint; Canva, Adobe, digital marketing tools, and social media platforms.
  • Experience analyzing marketing data and presenting to management
  • Ability to organize, manage and track progress of multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Experience with event planning and coordination
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams 
  • Adaptable and quick to learn new processes and tools/applications.
  • A track record of performance meeting targets and objectives
  • Must be self-directed, goal-oriented and flexible. 
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reside within or in a reasonable traveling distance to New England or Upstate/Western/Central New York region
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
