ROLE OVERVIEW
The Marketing Manager owns and executes performance-driven marketing across a portfolio of outdoor hospitality properties. This role blends strategy, creative execution, and analytics with a clear focus on driving awareness, engagement, and bookings.
The ideal candidate understands how paid media, content, email, and websites work together to influence guest decision-making. They are comfortable owning outcomes, adapting strategy based on seasonality and inventory, and communicating results clearly to internal teams and owner clients.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy & Analytics (40%)
- Analyze performance across paid media, email, social, website traffic, and bookings
- Identify opportunities, trends, and optimization strategies based on data and seasonality
- Adjust messaging, budgets, and priorities to align with inventory and demand
- Support seasonal and annual planning with senior marketing leadership
Creative & Execution (40%)
- Write and manage marketing content including email newsletters, ads, website updates, blogs, and social messaging
- Ensure each property’s voice is accurate, aspirational, and on brand
- Select and manage imagery and creative assets that support performance and brand standards
- Maintain website content accuracy and clarity to support conversions
Collaboration & Communication (20%)
- Work closely with operations and property teams to align marketing with on-site realities
- Communicate performance insights and next steps clearly and concisely
- Support internal initiatives such as rebrands, launches, and seasonal campaigns
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Strong understanding of digital marketing performance and attribution
- Experience with Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and reporting dashboards
- Hands-on experience managing Google Ads, including search, display, remarketing, and competitive campaigns optimized for conversions
- Experience managing Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising with a focus on performance and audience strategy
- Email marketing experience (Mailchimp or similar platforms), including copywriting and segmentation
- Website development and CMS experience (Squarespace, WordPress, or similar), including page structure, content updates, and basic UX optimization
- Design experience creating on-brand marketing and web assets (working knowledge of tools such as Canva, Adobe, or similar)
- Ability to create and manage SEO-informed content and website updates
- Understanding of guest booking behavior and conversion optimization
- Ability to clearly communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences

- Associate degree in Digital Media Marketing or similar with at least two additional years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or a closely related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital, creative, or performance marketing
- Small agency, multi-property, or multi-brand experience preferred
- Experience in hospitality, travel, or outdoor recreation is a plus
