Marketing Manager – Agronomic Events & Content

We’re hiring an Marketing Manager: Agronomic Events & Content provides strategic leadership for agronomic education, event programming, and content development aligned with WinField United Canada’s business priorities, sales objectives, and marketing goals. This role owns the strategy, planning, execution oversight, and continuous improvement of agronomic education programs, product guides, agronomic communications, and industry event participation.

The role works in close partnership with Sales, Marketing, Agronomy, Product Management, and Supplier Partners to ensure agronomic messaging is aligned, accurate, commercially relevant, and delivered consistently across internal and external channels. This position also aligns closely with the Marketing Director and Marketing Strategy Manager to ensure brand integrity, integrated execution, and consistent communication strategies across all customer touchpoints.

This role includes collaboration and direction, with the Events Marketing Specialist. Success requires strong leadership, coaching, prioritization, and execution oversight to deliver high-quality events, educational programming, and agronomic marketing outcomes that support business growth.

This role combines strategic thinking, agronomic understanding, project leadership, and content stewardship to strengthen WinField United Canada’s market presence and customer value proposition.

Required Qualifications

  • University degree in business, marketing, agronomy, plant sciences, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, agronomy, sales, business development, or related disciplines, preferably in agriculture

  • Strong understanding of agronomic communication and educational programming

  • Demonstrated project leadership across multiple stakeholders and initiatives

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Strong organizational and planning capability

  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
