We are seeking a
strategic and results-driven Marketing Manager to lead our digital marketing efforts, enhance brand
visibility, and support business growth. The Marketing Manager will play a
pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our business in their
respective sectors. Reporting directly to Regional Business Development
Manager, this role combines strategic insight with operational responsibilities,
ensuring marketing initiatives are executed effectively and aligned with
business goals.
In this position,
you鈥檒l be responsible for not only gathering and analyzing market intelligence
but also helping to implement marketing campaigns and manage operational
activities such as Exhibition organisation and implementation. Your expertise
will guide the development of sector specific marketing strategies while
ensuring smooth execution across various marketing touchpoints. This role
includes responsibility for PPC, Google Ads, social and email marketing, case
study development, market insights, brand awareness, and tradeshow planning.
The ideal candidate will also lead and mentor a small marketing team, fostering
collaboration and high performance.
What you鈥檒l be doing
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct
qualitative and quantitative market research, working closely with internal
teams (sales, product development, etc.) and external stakeholders. Analyze market
data to deliver actionable insights and inform timely decisions that drive
growth within the Life Sciences or Process Industries sectors.
- Marketing Insights Strategy: Develop and
implement a market insights strategy that communicates data-driven insights to
key stakeholders. Focus on critical trends and performance indicators that
enable senior leadership to make informed, growth-focused decisions. Your
insights will drive the overall marketing approach, ensuring alignment with
business priorities.
- Campaign Execution and Operational Support:
Collaborate closely with the marketing communications team and external
agencies to plan and execute marketing campaigns. Oversee campaign timelines,
content creation, and resource allocation. Manage operational tasks such as campaign
coordination, event planning, and content production, ensuring seamless
execution.
- Budget and Resource Management: Manage the
marketing budget for the sector, ensuring that resources are allocated
efficiently across different initiatives. Track the performance of marketing activities
and campaigns to assess return on investment, making recommendations for
optimization where necessary.
- Customer and Market Focus: Continuously
analyze customer needs and market dynamics within the sectors. Develop and
implement marketing strategies that engage customers, strengthen relationships,
and drive long-term partnerships. Use customer insights to shape the marketing
plan and ensure it resonates with target audiences. Organise and launch
- Americas Exhibitions and conferences, in collaboration with Business
Development, Sales and General Managers.
Stakeholder Engagement and Alignment:
Partner with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and
customer and market insights team marketing, to ensure alignment on key
marketing initiatives and campaigns. - Collaborate with sales teams to ensure
marketing strategies are in sync with revenue goals.
- Leadership and Team Development: Lead and
support a small team, as assigned, providing guidance, coaching, and
development opportunities to enhance performance. Drive accountability within
the team to achieve marketing and business objectives.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Support diversity,
equity, and inclusion initiatives within the team, fostering an inclusive
environment that reflects the organization鈥檚 values.
- Continuous Improvement: Take an active role
in driving continuous improvement within the marketing function. Regularly
assess performance, seek feedback, and leverage data to optimize processes and deliver
on marketing outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital & Performance Marketing
- Develop and execute integrated digital marketing strategies
across paid, owned, and earned channels.
- Manage and optimize PPC campaigns (Google Ads, Bing, LinkedIn)
to drive lead generation and ROI.
- Oversee SEO/SEM strategies and website performance to improve
visibility and engagement.
Email Marketing
- Plan, design, and execute targeted email marketing campaigns to
nurture leads and engage customers.
- Segment audiences and personalize content to improve open and
click-through rates.
- Monitor campaign performance, conduct A/B testing, and optimize
based on analytics.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR,
CAN-SPAM).
Social Media & Content Marketing
- Manage content calendars and campaigns across LinkedIn, Youtube,
and other platforms.
- Create engaging content that aligns with brand messaging and
campaign goals.
- Track engagement metrics and adjust strategies to improve
performance.
Google Ads Management
- Plan, execute, and optimize Google Ads campaigns (Search,
Display, Video).
- Conduct keyword research, write compelling ad copy, and manage
bidding strategies.
- Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights.
Case Study Development
- Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to identify
and develop impactful customer case studies.
- Create a structured process for gathering testimonials,
metrics, and success stories.
- Leverage case studies across digital campaigns, sales
enablement, and PR.
- Market Insights & Brand Awareness
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and
competitive positioning. - Translate insights into actionable marketing strategies and
messaging.
- Drive brand awareness through digital campaigns, PR, and
thought leadership.
Tradeshow & Event Management
- Plan and manage the company鈥檚 presence at industry tradeshows
and conferences.
- Coordinate logistics, booth design, promotional materials, and
lead capture strategies.
- Track event ROI and ensure timely follow-up on leads and
opportunities.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team.
- Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and support
professional development.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture aligned with
company values.
- Manage external agencies and freelancers as needed to support
campaign execution.

What you'll bring
- Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or
related field.
- Experience in digital marketing, PPC, email marketing, and
event/tradeshow management.
- Experience with data visualisation tools e.g. Power BI
- Excellent strategic and critical thinking capabilities with focus on delivering business impact
- Proven experience in market analysis, market research and marketing
- Strong interpersonal skills which allow you to engage proactively and successfully with both internal and external stakeholders. You are not afraid to make a cold call.
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Fluency in English. Additional languages such as Spanish, French or Portuguese are an asset.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience in a team leadership role: Proven experience and strong analytical skills and proficiency with
Google Ads, social media platforms, and marketing automation tools (e.g.,
HubSpot, Mailchimp, CRM).
- Experience of creating campaigns on LinkedIn and using other social media platforms
- Experience of organising events such as Exhibitions and tradeshows
- Experience of managing a budget
- Experience of Google ads, website search engine optimization (SEO) and pay per click campaigns (PPC)
- Experience of webchat
Preferred Skills:
- Google Ads and HubSpot certifications.
- Experience in B2B marketing, preferably in Life Sciences, Food
& Beverage or Environmental
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a
fast-paced environment.

This position offers a salary range of $101,166-151,749dls per year. Final salary offers are determined by multiple factors, including education, experience, internal equity, geographic location, and the candidate鈥檚 expertise, and therefore may vary from the range listed. For roles based outside Massachusetts, the applicable salary range may be lower.
