Summary of the Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager supports and manages a wide range of marketing initiatives across content, campaigns, events, and marketing operations.

This is a remote position based in the United States. The salary range for the position is $75,000 - $85,000 DOE. Employment visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Job Functions of the Marketing Manager

General Marketing Execution & Organization

  • Execute and support marketing initiatives across campaigns, events, content, and internal requests

  • Manage assigned projects from start to finish, including timelines, task coordination, and follow-through

  • Maintain highly organized trackers, calendars, documentation, and marketing assets

  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail across all deliverables

  • Balance multiple priorities while meeting deadlines and quality expectations

Content, Messaging & Creative Support

  • Work closely with the Director of Marketing on messaging and basic graphic design for advertisements, email campaigns, and trade show collateral

  • Support the creation, editing, and coordination of marketing content across channels, including web pages, blogs, marketing collateral, email campaigns, press releases, social content, and more

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to gather information and inputs needed to develop content-driven marketing materials

  • Write and edit marketing content for social posts, sales-facing collateral and press releases.

  • Design and produce basic marketing graphics and visual assets using Canva and/or Adobe Illustrator, including social media graphics, event and trade show collateral, and promotional materials

  • Edit, proofread, and fact-check marketing materials to ensure clarity, consistency, and brand alignment

  • Apply a strong visual eye to layouts, typography, and overall design consistency across materials

Marketing Systems, Campaign Execution & Reporting

  • Develop, execute, and manage direct marketing campaigns through HubSpot, targeting new prospects across key segments and verticals to support client acquisition efforts

  • Execute and manage email campaigns, lists, workflows, and reporting within HubSpot and other tools

  • Maintain and enhance marketing data within HubSpot, including adding new records and maintaining existing data accuracy

  • Support campaign tracking, performance reporting, and database organization using HubSpot and Microsoft Excel

  • Prepare marketing and performance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales and campaign data

  • Assist the Director of Marketing in managing marketing programs to support measurement of SQLs, MQLs, and overall program ROI

  • Support basic SEO and paid digital advertising (PPC) initiatives, including assisting with keyword research, campaign setup, performance monitoring, and reporting, as needed

  • Maintain organized marketing data, reports, and documentation within Microsoft Teams, HubSpot, OneDrive, and related tools

Events & Trade Show Support

  • Support the planning and execution of Streamline’s trade show program, including 35–40 trade shows annually, with a focus on preparation, logistics, and coordination

  • Assist with the selection, coordination, inventory management, and ongoing maintenance of company promotional items, including working with vendors, tracking inventory levels, and supporting distribution for events and campaigns

  • Provide hands-on support for key events attended in person, including NatCon, SC2, and the annual GTM Meeting

  • Assist with event logistics, materials preparation, shipping coordination, vendor communication, and post-event follow-up • Occasional additional travel may be required

Cross-Functional, Sales & Partner Support

  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Sales, Product, and Customer Success to support go-to-market initiatives

  • Provide marketing support to Sales as needed, including preparing materials and responding to requests

  • Support the Director of Marketing in developing, managing, and maintaining strong relationships with external vendors, associations, and partners

  • Respond to incoming marketing requests and assist with prioritization in partnership with the Director of Marketing

Market & Social Media Support

  • Manage and maintain a consistent, professional presence across the company’s social media platforms

  • Assist with research related to competitive products and market activity

  • Maintain organized research findings and reference materials

  • Assist the Director of Marketing with tracking and maintaining marketing budget

Requirements of the Marketing Manager

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field and three years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related role; or five or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Highly organized with strong project and time management skills

  • Ability to manage details while understanding broader marketing objectives

  • Positive, solutions-oriented attitude and strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and ownership of assigned work

  • Open to learning and expanding skills across multiple areas of marketing

  • Comfortable contributing ideas while also taking direction and incorporating feedback professionally

  • Ability to adapt to feedback and make revisions in a collaborative, professional manner

  • Ability to use or familiarity with the following tools is strongly preferred:

- Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook

- HubSpot

- Adobe Creative Suite

- Canva

- Cvent

- SEO and paid digital advertising (PPC) concepts and tools
