Marketing Manager / Director – Plumbing & Digital Growth

Position Overview

We are seeking a strategic, digitally fluent marketing leader to drive growth within our plumbing division while supporting broader home services initiatives across the platform. This role operates as a true partner to the Head of Marketing — helping shape strategy, owning execution, and leading performance initiatives that deliver measurable revenue impact.

 

As part of a rapidly expanding, multi-state organization, this individual will play a pivotal role in scaling the plumbing business, strengthening our digital engine, and advancing our customer acquisition strategy. The ideal candidate combines strategic perspective with operational excellence, bringing deep performance marketing expertise and a strong understanding of the home services landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Partner with the Head of Marketing to develop and operationalize a comprehensive marketing strategy focused on plumbing growth and market expansion.
  • Take ownership of day-to-day strategic execution, translating enterprise priorities into actionable plans that drive demand for service lines.
  • Identify opportunities to improve conversion, accelerate customer acquisition, and expand presence across new and existing service areas.
  • Support go-to-market planning for new locations, service lines, and acquisitions.

 

Digital Performance Leadership

  • Own performance marketing execution across Paid Search, Local Services Ads, and emerging channels, ensuring campaigns are optimized for efficiency and scale.
  • In alignment with the Head of Marketing, drive accountability for core metrics including cost per lead, customer acquisition cost, booking rate, and ROAS.
  • Use data and analytics to inform strategy, guide investment decisions, and continuously improve marketing effectiveness.

 

Campaign Strategy & Execution

  • Collaborate with the Head of Marketing and agency partners to plan and launch integrated campaigns aligned with seasonality, operational capacity, and revenue targets.
  • Own execution timelines and ensure plumbing and marketing programs move with speed, discipline, and measurable outcomes.

 

Brand & Market Positioning

  • Strengthen the plumbing brand while maintaining alignment with the broader organizational strategy.
  • Partner with the creative agency to develop high-performing assets that clearly differentiate our services in competitive local markets.
  • Champion consistent, customer-focused messaging that reinforces trust and expertise.

 

Budget Ownership & Vendor Leadership

  • Manage plumbing marketing budgets with a disciplined focus on ROI and efficient customer acquisition.
  • Recommend investment shifts based on performance insights, market dynamics, and growth priorities, across the platform.
  • Participate as a strategic partner to agency and vendor relationships, ensuring strong performance and accountability.

 

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • In partnership with the Head of Marketing, act as the primary marketing liaison to operations, sales, and call center leadership, ensuring marketing strategies are tightly aligned with business priorities and revenue goals.
  • Partner with the Head of Marketing to deliver clear reporting, actionable insights, and performance visibility to executive leadership.
  • Help foster a culture of accountability, agility, and continuous improvement across the marketing function.

 

Qualifications

  • 5–8+ years of progressive marketing experience, preferably within home services (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, restoration, or similar).
  • Demonstrated success leading high-performing digital marketing programs with measurable business impact.
  • Experience supporting multi-location or rapidly scaling service businesses strongly preferred.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into strategic action.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational capabilities.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Proficient with platforms such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta, ServiceTitan (or similar CRM), and call tracking tools preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred.
