JOB SUMMARY

  • As a Marketing Intern with Schellman, you'll support the marketing team across social media, events coordination, and competitive research. You'll play an active role in managing the social media calendar, collaborating with stakeholders across the firm, and helping the team stay informed on industry trends and competitors.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Social Media & Content

  • Manage and maintain the social media content calendar, ensuring timely and consistent posting

  • Monitor and report on LinkedIn performance metrics, working with stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals

  • Assist with drafting and editing marketing content and communications

Events & Research

  • Collaborate with the events manager to help coordinate and execute internal and external events

  • Conduct competitive research and intelligence gathering to identify industry trends and benchmarks

Collaboration & Operations

  • Support cross-functional stakeholders with marketing-related requests and projects

  • Adhere to project timelines and escalate issues in a timely manner

  • Attend team meetings and contribute creative ideas and insights

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Strong interest in marketing, social media, and brand communications

  • Familiarity with LinkedIn and social media performance metrics

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong research and analytical skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a remote environment

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams and stakeholders

EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field

  • Completed 2 years of education, achieving Junior level status

  • Experience through coursework, internships, student organizations, or personal creative projects
