Overview

The Marketing Executive, Commercial Lines is responsible for driving growth, retention, and profitability across commercial insurance programs within an assigned territory. This role partners clients, carriers, underwriters, sales teams, and internal service partners to deliver consultative insurance solutions aligned to each client’s operational and risk-management needs.

 

The Marketing Executive leads strategic marketing initiatives, manages carrier relationships, negotiates renewals, ensures regulatory compliance, and provides ongoing advisory support. Success in this role requires strong insurance expertise, relationship management skills, analytical acumen, and the ability to align insurance strategies with evolving business objectives.

 

This role is Fully Remote, requires a Valid P&C Producers License, extensive Commercial Lines experience, and is budgeted at 70$ - $75k. 


How you'll make an impact

Client Relationship & Account Management

  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships through regular meetings and proactive communication
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by applying consultative account management strategies
  • Maintain deep knowledge of assigned accounts to ensure responsiveness and client satisfaction

Marketing, Sales Support & Business Development

  • Develop and execute targeted marketing strategies for commercial insurance programs
  • Manage marketing efforts, including gathering underwriting data and completing carrier submissions
  • Identify opportunities to expand programs through coverage enhancements and additional products
  • Partner with sales teams to support new business initiatives and achieve growth targets

Carrier Relations, Renewals & Negotiation

  • Gather, analyze, and present renewal proposals from carriers
  • Lead negotiations to secure competitive pricing, favorable terms, and optimal coverage
  • Maintain strong carrier relationships to support placement strategies and issue resolution

Compliance, Regulatory & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements through audits and reviews
  • Stay current on legislative changes impacting commercial insurance and benefits
  • Communicate compliance updates and requirements clearly and timely to clients
  • Support preparation and maintenance of plan documents, SPDs, amendments, and contracts

Client Consulting & Issue Resolution

  • Provide ongoing consulting and day-to-day program support
  • Resolve billing, eligibility, premium, and carrier-related issues
  • Manage routine and complex claim issues, ensuring timely resolution and client advocacy

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Service Execution

  • Partner with P&C teams and internal service partners to drive retention and efficiency
  • Support implementation of new business and renewals through strong coordination and communication
  • Assist in training and development of service team members

Data, Reporting & Systems Management

  • Analyze industry and benchmarking data to support program strategy
  • Prepare accurate, timely client and internal reports
  • Maintain detailed account activity in Salesforce and other systems

Enrollment & Employee Engagement

  • Support employee education efforts and present insurance programs effectively
  • Enhance client engagement through clear communication of benefits and offerings

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field
  • 5 or more years client coordination and/or claims management experience OR High School degree and 10 years client coordination and/or claims management experience
  • Valid P&C Producers License required

Preferred:

 

  • Degree concentration in Marketing or Sales; MBA or advanced degree a plus
  • Experience managing client relationships and supporting revenue-generating activities
  • Experience in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
  • Professional designation may be preferred, such as CPCU, CIC or ARM

We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
