To accelerate marketing campaign execution by serving as the primary point of contact within Marketing for all list and segmentation requests to Analytics. This contractor will play a critical role in ensuring requests are defined, communicated, and tracked by collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role will help improve the requirements and overall process to support data-driven marketing strategies.
Responsibilities:
1. List Coordination:
A. Serve as a liaison between Marketing and Analytics to gather and refine marketing requirements for data requests.
B. Submit and track data requests to Analytics who will develop lists and dashboards for:
i. Email marketing campaigns
ii. 6sense intent segments
iii. Gift drop programs
iv. ICPTAM targeting
v. Persona-based segmentation
vi. Product-specific and pain-point aligned campaigns
vii. Client Marketing campaigns
2. Platform Expertise:
A. Knowledge of these tools will help with translating marketing strategy into requirements:
i. 6sense
ii. ZoomInfo
iii. Dun & Bradstreet
iv. Salesforce (CRM)
v. Eloqua (MAP)
B. Understand data housed in each system and how it supports segmentation, enrichment and outreach.
C. Identify which segments/campaigns require list or dashboard development outside of Eloqua/6sense.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
A. Works closely with: Demand Generation, Marketing Operations, Sales, Campaign Planners and Analytics teams.
B. Meet with teams to gather and refine requirements across campaigns and other marketing initiatives.
C. Collaborate with Analytics to streamline the request process and support continuous improvement.
4. Data Strategy & Compliance
D. Provide recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders on list requirements to improve targeting and maximize effectiveness.
E. Ensure outreach complies with internal and external data governance policies.
F. Ensure compliance with data usage policies (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR).
5. Documentation & Reporting
A. Maintain a centralized backlog of all active and completed requests with Analytics.
B. Monitor for duplication of requests across campaigns to avoid redundancy.
C. Document lists/segments created including inclusion/exclusion criteria and intended application, to support reuse and reference across requests.
D. Outline list-building processes and segmentation logic.
E. Define gaps and provide regular updates, insights, and best practices for improved automation/processes.
F. Define success metrics and track performance of the requests.
Qualifications:
Ā· 3+ years in B2B marketing segmentation, requirements gathering, process coordination, and campaign support.
Ā· Experience with marketing data platforms (6sense, ZoomInfo, D&B).
Ā· Familiarity with Eloqua and Salesforce or similar MAP/CRM systems.
Ā· Strong understanding of data architecture and marketing compliance.
Ā· Ability to interpret marketing strategy and recommend actionable segmentation requirements.
Ā· Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Ā· Demonstrated organizational skills across multiple departments.
Ā· Nice to have experience with CRMA dashboards, Snowflake, or CDPs.
Onboarding & Training Plan:
First 30 Days: Foundation & Familiarization
Goals: Understand systems, processes, and team dynamics.
Activities:
Ā· Company & Systems Overview
Ā· Deep dive into company data architecture.
Ā· Walkthrough of marketing automation platforms and integrations.
Ā· Review internal campaign execution and data request processes.
Ā· Access and study historical campaign data and documentation.
Ā· Shadow demand generation and analytics teams.
Ā· Attend relevant team meetings and cross-functional syncs.
Check-ins
Ā· Weekly 1:1s with manager to review progress and address blockers.
Deliverables:
Ā· Summary of key systems and processes.
Ā· Initial audit of historical campaign performance based on data requests.

Days 31ā60: Application & Contribution
Goals: Begin contributing to campaigns and data processes.
Activities:
Ā· Begin coordinating the Marketing and Analytics teams under supervision.
Ā· Assist with gathering requirements from Marketing for data requests. This role wonāt directly create or pull lists at this time.
Ā· Identify inefficiencies or gaps in current workflows.
Ā· Propose improvements or automation opportunities.
Ā· Partner with analytics to understand performance benchmarks.
Ā· Begin contributing to documentation updates.

Ā· Midpoint review with manager and key stakeholders.

Days 61ā90: Ownership & Impact
Goals: Take ownership of key processes and demonstrate impact.

Ā· Independently manage end-to-end requirements coordination and tracking across Marketing.
Ā· Provide recommendations to improve requirements to increase targeting.
Ā· Compare campaign engagement against historical benchmarks.
Ā· Finalize documentation for repeatable processes.
Ā· Share learnings and best practices with team.
