We’re looking for a Marketing & Content Coordinator to help bring our creative direction and content strategy to life. This role works closely with leadership to shape brand messaging and translate big-picture ideas into compelling, consistent content across digital channels.
This is a hands-on creative role where you’ll contribute to strategic thinking while actively creating content—writing copy, designing visuals, and publishing posts—alongside an in-house content creator.
PLEASE NOTE:
- Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM EST (3:30 PM – 12:30 PM South African Time) These working hours are subject to change depending on daylight savings and/or the operational requirements of the company.
- Work Environment: This is a fully remote working role.
- You will be required to work on both South African and US public holidays (compensation for SA public holidays in accordance with the BCEA)
- Internet Requirements: A fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps (upload & download) and the ability to support a wired Ethernet connection is mandatory. Applicants without a fixed fibre line cannot be considered.
- Power Backup: A reliable power backup solution is required to manage load shedding and power outages. Applicants without a power backup cannot be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with leadership to develop and refine creative direction, brand messaging, and content strategy
- Lead the implementation of content plans across social media and digital channels
- Write clear, engaging copy for social posts, campaigns, and digital content (B2B & B2C)
- Design on-brand graphics for social media, campaigns, and marketing materials
- Publish and manage content across social platforms, ensuring consistency, quality, and timing
- Turn high-level ideas into practical creative plans, campaigns, and content calendars
- Lead regular planning and review sessions with the internal content team
- Review, refine, and approve content to ensure brand alignment and high standards
- Collaborate with internal teams to support company initiatives and launches
- Stay up to date with social media, branding, and digital marketing trends
- Experience in marketing, content creation, digital marketing, or a similar creative role
- Strong graphic design skills with hands-on experience using tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar
- Excellent writing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and messaging for different audiences and platforms
- Proven experience creating and publishing content across social media platforms
- Comfort working across both B2B and B2C content
- A creative thinker who can also execute—ideas don’t just stay in your head
- Organized, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of projects
