We are Looking for a motivated candidate eager to dig into a role that sharpens their analytical skills and challenges their creative prowess for our marketing communications coordinator position. This role will support the execution of marketing campaigns and day-to-day communication activities, assisting with content development, coordinating marketing materials, and maintaining consistent brand messaging across multiple channels (email, SMS, push, direct mail, call campaigns) in a collaborative marketing environment.

Responsibilities

 

  • Assist the MarCom lead with evaluating communications, new and current, and determining the appropriate content, design, disclosures, and channel as well as define the audience criteria and delivery/timing for each project.
  • Collaborate with Designers, Writers, Developers and Marketing Strategists to create communications that fit the customers’ needs within their journey and the company’s vision.
  • Ensure every communication goes through a formal review process and work with legal and compliance on any required adjustments.
  • Coordinate the proper set up of all communications within the CRM platforms. Proof approved creative with the final piece for absolute accuracy. Test deliverability with Developers to make sure formatting and loading is optimal for all major mobile devices and apps.  Verify approved audience criteria, including consent opt-ins, with final lists provided by Strategists.
  • Monitor all marketing campaigns daily to ensure they are all sending as scheduled. Support the tracking, reporting, and analyzing of each campaign to see if any adjustments or further testing are needed.
  • Keep up to date with advancements and best practices within each communication channel. Understand laws and regulations that impact Customer communications (i.e. CAN-SPAM, TCPA, etc.) Assist with conducting periodic marketing communication audits.
  • Establish a monthly calendar of all communications sent out to customers and maintain a library of current creative, criteria and schedule or cadence.
  • Document all team processes and procedures for both training and auditing purposes, updating these documents as needed.
  • Support creative on the development of organic social media. Monitor feedback and work with team to make sure we respond. 
  • Conduct business and perform job duties in a manner consistent with the requirements set forth in all company policies, procedures and other directives, and in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Complete all compliance training assigned to understand the key provisions of law, regulation and internal policies and procedures applicable to their job duties, as well as the impact of non-compliance on the company’s reputation and success.

Qualifications

 

  • 0-2 years’ experience in marketing communications.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
  • Strong grammar and sentence structure.
  • Able to effectively write for various audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and detailed oriented.
  • Flexible, resourceful and able to pivot projects or adapt to new situations quickly.
  • Proactive, inquisitive and enjoy finding creative solutions and thinking outside the box.
  • Curiosity about the world around you, new technology and ways to reach audiences.
  • Ability and willingness to continuously learn.
  • Positive and team-oriented; a strong teammate and team player.

 

Preferred but not required

  • Basic HTML knowledge or a willingness to learn basic code.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (Responsys, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, etc.)
  • Understanding or having general knowledge of the industry and loan products and services.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience, preferred.

 

Base Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 USD

 

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based on the U.S. average. The actual base salary offered for this full-time position will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, skills, knowledge, competencies, and experience.

 

All full-time salaried employees are eligible for the following benefits, starting on day one: Flexible Paid Time Off Program, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability, and other voluntary coverages. You will also be eligible to participate in our 401k program, starting on the first of the month following 30 days of employment with a company match.
