Description

We are seeking a Marketing Automation Strategist with experience in running email and marketing automation campaigns to help plan, analyze, recommend and execute strategies to meet our clients’ digital marketing goals. You’ll be responsible for leading CRM strategies and executing email and marketing automation campaigns for a portfolio of clients in a variety of industries. You’ll achieve success by partnering with our clients and internal teams to create emails, build audience segments, develop workflows, and deploy campaigns, while leveraging CRM databases.

We’re looking for a team player, someone ready to roll up their sleeves and collaborate with clients and internal team members. At Spinutech, we’re continuous learners and expect our team members to stay in the know on new marketing automation technologies, trends and strategies and proactively communicate updates to clients and internal teams.

We also manage our own desks so candidates and team members must have an ability to work independently, managing client and internal workflows while achieving on-time delivery of projects.

You’re a Great Fit If You

Have 3+ years of experience managing email and marketing automation strategy for brands, ideally in an agency setting. Proactively process and document all pieces needed for efficient and detail-oriented work. 

Have managed multiple accounts and campaigns simultaneously, while keeping performance and communication tight between internal and external stakeholders. Proactively communicating, documenting communication, and taking pride in work quality that is both internal and client-facing.

Love data but know that strategy is more than numbers. Can lead client conversations around their data and results with clarity, confidence, and strategic insight.

Are comfortable collaborating across departments and love being part of a team that supports one another.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute email, marketing automation, and CRM strategies for a portfolio of clients in varying industries and verticals
  • Partner with clients and internal teams to create emails, build list/audience segments, develop workflows and deploy campaigns
  • Leverage various marketing tools and technologies to elevate client marketing initiatives at every stage of the sales/purchase funnel
  • Manage email and marketing automation processes, including QA protocols, to ensure campaigns are deployed accurately, on-time, and on-budget
  • Create, execute and analyze test plans for continued optimization of email and marketing automation campaigns
  • Manage workflows and campaigns in a variety of ESPs, including HubSpot, Klaviyo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, ActiveCampaign, and more
  • Actively work with the data and analytics team to ensure tracking and reporting is accurate
  • Develop strong insights and turn data into actionable results. Deliver the story behind the data to demonstrate performance of our channel.
  • Effectively communicate strategies and performance to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Stay abreast of new marketing automation technologies, trends and strategies and proactively communicate updates to clients and internal teams

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in email and marketing automation
  • Deep understanding of marketing automation workflows, email personalization and overall email and marketing automation strategies and best practices
  • Proven hands-on experience building, testing, and launching campaigns within major ESPs such as HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, and others.
  • Experience with email marketing data and Google Analytics
  • Ability to identify, and effectively communicate trends, insights and opportunities within big data sets, reporting and dashboards
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and applications in marketing automation, such as content generation, email subject line optimization, send-time personalization, etc.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently, managing client and internal workflow and achieving on-time delivery of projects
  • Platform certifications, a plus (Salesforce, Marketo, etc.)
