Job Title: Marketing Automation Manager, Salesforce
Location: Remote, US
We’re looking for an experienced Marketing Automation Manager to join our client-embedded teams supporting leading brands in the tech and e-commerce space. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of marketing strategy, data, and technology—and enjoys driving measurable impact at scale.
You’ll play a key role in planning, executing, and optimizing global marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and/or Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot). You’ll leverage email, digital advertising, and web channels to increase engagement, demand, and brand awareness.
What you'll do
- Build, launch, and optimize email marketing campaigns—from template setup and testing to deployment, tracking, and reporting
- Develop audience segmentation using demographic, firmographic, and behavioral data such as email engagement and website activity
- Design and optimize lead nurturing and customer journey workflows to improve engagement and conversion
- Monitor list health and deliverability, reducing list decay and unsubscribes while improving campaign performance
- Plan and execute A/B and multivariate tests to uncover insights and improve campaign effectiveness
- Analyze performance data and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations
- Partner cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality marketing campaigns
- Support localization and regional execution of email marketing programs
What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or analytical field (e.g., economics, statistics, computer science) preferred
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in marketing automation or lifecycle marketing
- Strong experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and/or Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot)
- Experience integrating webinar and virtual event platforms with Salesforce marketing tools
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for email development and troubleshooting
- Solid understanding of email marketing best practices, compliance, and accessibility (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, ALT tags, image optimization, etc.)
- Familiarity with email performance metrics such as deliverability, sender reputation, and engagement rates
- Experience with segmentation, dynamic content, personalization, and campaign measurement
- Exposure to creative tools like Photoshop and HTML editors for email troubleshooting
- Experience designing and analyzing A/B and multivariate tests
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into insights
- SQL or similar data skills a plus
- Comfortable learning new tools quickly in a fast-paced environment
