Compensation range: $1800-$2200 AUD/Month

Engagement type: Independent Contractor

Work Schedule: 9:00 AM - 6 PM Philippine Time

Who The Client Is:

Our client is an Australian healthcare imaging provider specializing in advanced skin imaging, early detection of skin cancer and aesthetics. . They focus on delivering accurate, timely, and patient-centered care across their network. The business is fast-evolving and digital-first — known for its modern systems, marketing-driven approach, and commitment to operational excellence.

They are now looking for a Marketing Assistant who is creative, tech-savvy, and detail-oriented to help strengthen their online presence and support day-to-day marketing activities.

About the Role

We’re looking for someone who is as strong in design as they are in marketing. This role blends creativity and strategy — you’ll design high-quality visuals, create short-form video clips, build and manage Meta Ads campaigns, and communicate with patients through warm, friendly online messaging.

You’ll help turning ideas into polished deliverables, whether that’s designing ad assets, building landing pages in Wix, or preparing performance reports across Meta, Wix Analytics, and GA4. Because our workflows move quickly, you’ll need excellent design skills, solid marketing experience, and the confidence to take loose direction and independently carry projects through to completion without needing step-by-step guidance.

Key Responsibilities


Daily

  • Manage two-way patient communication via Messenger and SMS with warm, professional messaging.
  • Respond to the website chat box.
  • Update lead pipelines in Wix with new contact or booking activity.
  • Flag any issues with Wix automations or workflows.

Weekly

  • Prepare simple weekly performance summaries using Wix Analytics.
  • Respond to Google reviews and maintain a positive online reputation.
  • Prepare and schedule marketing content across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Google Business Profile.

Monthly

  • Edit and repurpose content for newsletters, blogs, and social posts.
  • Prepare monthly performance reports using GA4, Wix Analytics, and Meta Ads Manager.
  • Design static graphics, reels, thumbnails, and other creative assets.
  • Support various marketing tasks such as landing pages, product labels, catalogues, and white-label product research.

Ongoing Strategic & Marketing Support

  • Conduct competitor and trend research to support campaign planning.
  • Build and optimise landing pages, lead magnets, email sequences, and other marketing funnels in Wix.
  • Set up and configure new marketing tools or integrations, including contact imports and workflow creation.
  • Coordinate influencer partnerships — outreach, communication, deliverables tracking, and scheduling.
  • Create and manage Meta Ads campaigns, including launching ads, updating UTMs, monitoring rejections, and checking performance.
  • Produce short-form video clips from long videos for reels, ads, and social content.
  • Assist with testing and improving overall marketing performance (ads, funnels, messaging, audiences).
  • Collaborate with the director to develop and execute marketing ideas with minimal supervision.

Required Skills and Qualifications::

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in both graphic design and digital marketing (non-negotiable).
  • Strong graphic design skills — highly proficient in Canva and preferably Adobe tools; able to design polished static ads, reels, flyers, thumbnails, landing page layouts, and marketing visuals.
  • Proficiency with Meta Ads Manager is essential, as this role requires confidence navigating campaign setup, optimisation, troubleshooting, UTMs, and performance reporting.
  • Familiarity with Meta Business Suite is preferred but is a secondary priority compared to Ads Manager expertise.
  • Wix experience is helpful but not required — it’s a straightforward platform that the right candidate can learn quickly.
  • Excellent English communication skills — written and spoken — with the ability to adopt a warm, patient-friendly tone.
  • Tech-savvy and adaptable — able to learn new platforms, tools, and systems quickly.
  • Comfortable working in a healthcare environment with sensitivity to patient communication.
  • Strong initiative - able to take loose direction and turn it into organised and detailed work with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with (or willingness to learn) basic video editing with CapCut or similar, ManyChat and Wix automations.
  • Experience with (or willingness to learn) marketing funnels and strategy is a huge advantage.
  • Comfortable working in a healthcare context with sensitivity to patient communication and following a warm, patient-friendly brand voice.

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.
