Job Title: Marketing and Communications Manager, Programs & Advocacy
Supervisor: Vice President of Marketing and Communications
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Status: Full-time, salary
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and three or more years of experience in fundraising, marketing, and communications. Strong writing, speaking, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational ability. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize accordingly. Regional and local travel as needed. Valid New York State driver's license.
Preferred qualifications: Ability to speak and write to a variety of audiences. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, Wordpress, Mailchimp, and Google Analytics.
Physical Requirements: This position works in a typical office setting but may be exposed to extreme temperatures in a warehouse setting. There may be extended periods of sitting, standing and/or bending, listening, talking and/or visual concentration, writing and/or computer use. This position would normally have routine opportunities for the employee to be able to alter their physical position or change eye focus. Lifting should not normally exceed 30 pounds.
Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Vice President of Marketing and Communications, assists with marketing and communications projects for the Food Bank, particularly supporting the Programs and Advocacy teams. Identifies, researches, and develops new activities to increase awareness and other support for the Food Bank.
