The Marketing Insights and Data Analytics Services team within the Marketing & Data Strategy organization works on projects across all divisions, to develop insights around Fans and Marketing programs. These insights are used to inspire new marketing programs and improve existing marketing efforts across Concerts, Ticketmaster, and Sponsorship business units. We are also responsible for quantifying the value of our marketing efforts through our test and learn program, incrementality testing and attribution thought leadership.
THE ROLE
The Digital Media Analytics Intern will support the Marketing Insights & Data Analytics team in analyzing digital media campaigns and marketing performance across multiple channels.
This internship will provide hands-on experience with marketing analytics, campaign measurement, testing frameworks, and performance reporting used to optimize large-scale marketing programs.
The intern will work closely with analytics and media strategy teams to help analyze campaign performance, build dashboards, support test-and-learn initiatives, and translate data into actionable insights.
This role is ideal for students interested in marketing analytics, digital media strategy, and data-driven decision making.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Support the analytics team in analyzing and monitoring digital media campaign performance across channels including paid search, paid social, programmatic, and CRM.
Assist in running Marketing Mix Model (MMM) scenarios to help evaluate different marketing investment strategies and understand potential impacts on ticket sales and media performance.
Assist with routine media analytics and campaign operations tasks, including maintaining budget pacing trackers, entering and validating media spend data, and generating QR codes for campaign tracking.
Help maintain and update marketing dashboards and performance reports used by the media strategy and analytics teams.
Conduct ad hoc analysis to identify trends, performance drivers, and opportunities to optimize marketing campaigns.
Help translate analytical findings into clear presentations and summaries to support internal stakeholders and marketing teams.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING:
Required:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, Analytics, Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field
Experience working with spreadsheets and basic data analysis
Interest in digital marketing, media analytics, or marketing strategy
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing assigned projects independently.
Desired:
Experience working with data visualization or BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar
Exposure to digital marketing platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, or programmatic media platforms
Familiarity with marketing experimentation or A/B testing concepts
Experience working with marketing, campaign, or consumer data sets
Interest in the live entertainment, music, or events industry
TECHNICAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
Proficiency with spreadsheet and presentation tools, including Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, Google Slides, and Microsoft PowerPoint
Familiarity with dashboard and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar platforms
Basic understanding of SQL or querying data from databases
Understanding of digital media performance metrics, including CPM, CTR, CPA, and ROAS
Ability to analyze data and translate findings into clear insights
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly in presentations or written summaries

The expected compensation for this position is:
$16.90 USD - $20.00 USD Hourly** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
