ThinkOn is seeking a Public Sector Marketing Manager to lead marketing efforts for government clients across Canada. This role owns the public sector segment end-to-end, developing and executing data-driven marketing strategies that drive demand, pipeline growth, and market credibility for ThinkOn as a trusted sovereign cloud provider.

You will partner closely with solution architects, product managers, sales, and internal marketing teams to plan, launch, and optimize campaigns, while managing budgets, field marketing, and partner initiatives. 

This hands-on role balances strategic planning with execution and performance accountability, with direct ownership of funnel performance and campaign ROI. It is ideal for a self-directed professional who takes initiative and enjoys seeing their work translate directly into business impact.

You Will:

  • Develop and lead public sector marketing programs using data-driven go-to-market strategies to drive targeted outreach and qualified pipeline growth, aligned with ThinkOn’s business objectives.
  • Serve as the primary marketing resource for the public sector segment, providing expertise and guidance on market trends, messaging, positioning, and relevant regulations.
  • Plan, launch, and manage campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, events, and partner-led initiatives.
  • Drive impactful co-marketing/partner engagement and lead generation programs through webinars, content creation, and joint-promotion activities.
  • Organize and execute field marketing activities, including conferences, trade shows, executive briefings, and partner events.
  • Responsible for achieving segment-specific KPIs including ROI, lead generation, pipeline contribution, and engagement metrics.
  • Set, track, analyze, and report on campaign performance to ensure achievement of business outcomes and provide insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
  • Manage segment marketing budget and make data-driven decisions to optimize return on investment and strategies.
  • Collaborate with sales and content teams to create campaign collateral, presentations, case studies, white papers, and other assets to support pipeline development and align with campaign objectives.

You Have:

  • 5–7 years of professional marketing experience, with a proven track record in Canadian public sector marketing and campaign execution.
  • Canadian Secret-level clearance is required
  • Strong understanding of the public sector landscape, including government procurement processes, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory considerations.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing data-driven marketing strategies and campaigns that drive qualified pipeline and measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience managing budgets and analyzing campaign performance to optimize ROI pipeline contribution, and engagement metrics.
  • Hands-on experience planning and executing events and field marketing initiatives.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative with a high degree of accountability.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to pivot quickly as needed.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively with sales, product, marketing teams.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders simultaneously.

Nice to Have:

  • Based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
  • Bilingual in French and English is an asset.
  • Familiarity with channel and partner marketing models, and experience collaborating with resellers or technology partners.
  • Knowledge of CASL and relevant regulatory frameworks, policies, and compliance requirements.
