Overview of the Role:
The Manager, Patient Marketing is responsible for developing and managing the playbook of marketing campaigns, operations, and projects for a variety of key patient initiatives and tracking the efficacy of these efforts. These include virtual health and clinical research, strategic health reminder marketing and communications campaigns to improve quality and population health outcomes for our value-based contracts, educational messaging for our Medicare and Medicare Advantage populations, information about Privia’s robust specialty network, appointment reminders, and more. This role also serves as the people manager for the Sr. Creative Associate and Sr. Marketing Associate.
The Manager, Patient Marketing must possess an organized, flexible, thoughtful approach to learning Privia’s proprietary patient marketing and communications technologies and advancing the patient communications campaign roadmap. S/he will be expected to think and act both strategically and tactically, ensuring the success of our patient communications editorial processes, coordinating with Clinical leaders and Market presidents for approvals, and keeping the appropriate teams and stakeholders informed about the campaign schedule and results. We are looking for a self-starter who can work fast and smart, and is interested in tackling challenging opportunities.
Primary Job Duties:
Develop and maintain the Patient Marketing playbook
People Manager for the Sr. Creative Associate and Sr. Marketing Associate
Create and execute a multi-channel promotional strategy and toolkit to help Care Centers drive brand awareness, patient acquisition, patient engagement, and retention
Own Patient Marketing support activity for newly launched Markets
Superuser for the patient communication email marketing tool
Own operations for our online reputation management tool
Maintain campaign information and metrics on the yearly patient communications roadmap, detailing the successes and opportunity areas of patient communications campaigns
Own the process of preparing and/or coordinating the download of necessary patient contact information with the Privia data team
Oversee the editorial process for key patient communication email and text campaigns (Annual Wellness Visits, Medicare Advantage age-in/open enrollment, Quality, ancillaries, virtual health, mobile app, etc)
Work with the Patient Marketing Associate to prepare necessary information and coordinate large patient mailing projects with vendors (annual beneficiary notifications, open enrollment letters, etc)
Own process to ensure all campaigns are compliant with Privia’s Legal & Compliance standards and aligned with current HIPAA guidelines
Work closely with Creative and Digital teams on strategy for patient initiatives
Own process to support communications for Virtual Health and Clinical Research
Assist with other patient marketing/communications and patient related duties as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
Strong writing and editing skills required
Experience using marketing automation platform and/or email marketing services
Experience with Microstrategy preferred
Healthcare industry knowledge and/or interest
Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations
Strong organization skills
Ability to work with roles at all levels of the company
The salary range for this role is $68,000.00-$85,000.00 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, and pet insurance, 401K, paid time off, and other wellness programs). This role is also eligible for an annual bonus targeted at 15% and restricted stock units. The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location.
