This is a full time, remote Summer Internship that can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada.
Calix is looking for an aspiring Business, Marketing, Communications or MBA student who is passionate about sales, international marketing and market research to join us for the Summer.
In this role you will be part of a unique and award-winning internship program within the company. The program provides the opportunity to learn new skills through training and on the job learning.
This position will be supporting our international Tier 1 – Tier 3 marketing and sales efforts across EMEA. The International Marketing Associate will lead their own project, working cross-functionally across Calix Events, Marketing Operations, and Success teams to support content development, data analysis and market research. This role offers a unique opportunity to support multiple international markets, collaborating with regional teams to develop localized marketing materials, competitive insights, and go-to-market strategies. The duration of the internship is expected to be 90 days.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Work with the Calix Marketing Team to understand the Calix value proposition.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support international marketing strategies.
- Attend meetings and interact with the International Sales Team as required.
Qualifications:
- Enrolled in an accredited university and working towards a Business, Marketing, Communications or Sales degree.
- Microsoft Office software experience (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Excel and data entry experience required.
- 6sense certified and Gong proficiency required.
- Salesforce.com or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) experience preferred.
- Comfortable with technology and learning new applications and platforms.
- Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret market trends.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong writing skills (German a plus).
- Familiarity with international markets and cultural nuances a plus.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work for the complete summer break (May - August or June - September).
- Preference will be given to applicants who are currently in their Junior or Senior year of college with prior work experience.

The base pay range for this position varies based on the geographic location. More information about the pay range specific to candidate location and other factors will be shared during the recruitment process. Individual pay is determined based on location of residence and multiple factors, including job-related knowledge, skills and experience.

23.00 - 29.90 USD Hourly
Select US Metros and States:
20.00 - 26.00 USD Hourly
Other US Locations:
18.00 - 23.40 USD Hourly
