About the role

As a result of our incredible success and growth, we are looking for a brand new Head of Product Marketing to join us who will strategically and pro-actively approach this role. As the Head of Product Marketing at Pion, you are the voice of the market and the architect of our product narrative. Navigating a complex ecosystem of SaaS, Affiliate, and Media products, your job is to figure out who we are selling to, what they care about, and how we position our solutions to win.

Reporting to the CPO, you will own the product's Go-To-Market (GTM) and positioning strategy. You will build the foundational messaging and marketing assets that make the market care about our roadmap, before handing those messaging blueprints over to the Sales Enablement team to turn into sales-floor collateral.

Responsibilities include -

  • Deeply researching the market, tracking competitors, and defining exactly who we sell to (ICPs and Personas) across SaaS, Affiliate, and Media.
  • You will operate simultaneously between the Product, Marketing and Sales teams, defining a strong B2B/B2C strategy which supports these teams to reach their OKR's
  • Partnering with the Sales and Sales Enablement teams, utilising tools such as Gong to gather client feedback, understand perspectives and maintain a feedback loop to the Product teams.
  • Partnering with Product Managers to define product features/value. Building the foundational messaging frameworks for how we talk about our products.
  • Writing and producing all external marketing assets: B2B website copy, LinkedIn content, customer emails, and top-of-funnel marketing campaigns.
  • Owning the overarching messaging, positioning, and narrative consistency for major external events (e.g., Pioneer & YMS).
  • Tracking market perception—how the wider world and target market react to the Pion brand, our products, and our positioning.

A little bit about you.


We’d really like to hear from you, if you have -

  • Multi-Product Experience: Proven experience marketing a complex portfolio of products (SaaS, Media, and/or Affiliate network experience is highly preferred).
  • Exceptional Storytelling: You must be an elite copywriter and communicator who can translate complex technical features into compelling, benefit-driven market messaging.
  • Analytical Researcher: A natural curiosity for market dynamics, competitor movements, and buyer psychology.
  • Collaborative DNA: A strong track record of partnering successfully with Product Management (PMs) to extract value, and Sales Enablement to hand off messaging.
  • Someone who can operate strategically, but is most certainly someone who is hands on as an individual contributor and can get stuck into the detail of "doing"
  • Understands how to drive Product Marketing metrics: Revenue generated, market/website traffic, reach and engagement metrics, win rates.
