My entire life, I’ve been pulling on a thread that’s affected all of us in some way. Millions die every year because their medical problems aren’t treated quickly enough. Hundreds of millions suffer pain, worry and discomfort needlessly because of long waiting times. I trained as a doctor in the NHS and quit out of frustration at seeing countless cases of people dying because they got misdiagnosed or didn’t get the right care plan.
Seeing the problem space at all abstraction levels, including as a doctor and at the HM Treasury, convinced me that the only way to fix healthcare was to build a ‘Care Enablement’ platform that can automate and abstract away work at the clinic, and effectively 10x'ing the capacity of doctors. Doing so would also be the path to a superhuman personalised medicine agent that could go well beyond humans, crunching tens of thousands of low level features at genome and transcriptome level.
At Anima, you’ll help us extend the 3 existing product lines we have, that millions of patients use, and build out new ones at the very cutting edge of healthcare reinforcement learning and agentic AI. Your work will save countless lives.

Now, we support over 5 million patients and we’re ready to bring Anima to every clinic and team that needs it across the UK. The Growth Marketing Lead role exists to make that happen, creating scalable growth loops, community-led awareness, and demand at every stage of the funnel. You’ll lead the charge on how Anima reaches, activates, and retains users, from bold events and storytelling, to seamless PLG experiences, automations, and viral loops.
You’ll sit at the intersection of marketing, product, and customer success, architecting experiments, automations, and creative campaigns that convert.

Analytical Systems Thinker: You think in systems and data, understanding how every growth lever (from events and email to PLG and referrals) connects into a self-sustaining engine. You’re rigorous about ROI, attribution, and finding signal in noise to guide smart decisions.
Experimental & Automation-Driven: You design and run structured experiments, iterating fast to scale what works. You build automations and workflows that compound growth efficiently without adding manual overhead.
Customer Insight & Positioning: You’re customer-obsessed and reason from first principles. You uncover deep user motivations and pain points to shape precise positioning, messaging, and ICP design that resonate.
Creative Storyteller: You blend data with intuition to craft campaigns and copy that educate, inspire, and convert. You’re creative and scrappy, turning customer stories and partnerships into authentic advocacy and growth channels.
Organised Owner: You’re proactive, methodical, and thrive in high-autonomy environments. You plan ahead, run multiple experiments in parallel, and maintain a bias to action. Ambiguity fuels your curiosity and drive.
3–6 years of experience in demand generation, growth, or lifecycle marketing in high-growth B2B SaaS or PLG environments.
Proven track record running multi-channel campaigns across events, content, email, partnerships, and automations with measurable ROI.
Skilled in positioning, copywriting, and segmentation with a strong grasp of customer psychology.
Deeply motivated by building technology that empowers people and advances AI-driven healthcare.
Technical fluency with SQL, Python, JS, or Excel for data exploration, attribution, reporting and automations.
Proficiency in growth tools such as HubSpot, Clay, Lemlist, Zapier, GA4, and Mixpanel.
Experience building PLG loops, ambassador programs, or community-led growth initiatives.
A strong interest in AI, healthcare, and systems thinking.
Design and execute Anima’s end-to-end demand generation strategy across events, content, partnerships, and PLG.
Build scalable growth loops, automations, and workflows that drive qualified leads and measurable ROI.
Create and optimise lifecycle campaigns that turn awareness into activation, conversion, and advocacy.
Develop bold events, storytelling, and social campaigns that expand brand awareness and credibility.
Build and scale a customer storytelling and ambassador engine that turns users into public champions.
Partner with Product to embed PLG mechanics like referrals, onboarding nudges, and sharing loops.
Use data and experimentation to uncover new growth levers, refine ICPs, and optimise targeting.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Customer Success to align growth systems with business impact.
