Company Overview
French Florist is a floral boutique reimagining what it means to give and receive flowers. Our handcrafted arrangements are intentionally designed by expert floral designers using only the highest-quality blooms sourced from the best farms around the world. Whether for celebration, connection, or simply delight, our flowers do more than decorate—they elevate and transform moments.
With thriving corporate boutiques in Los Angeles and a rapidly expanding franchise network nationwide, French Florist is on a mission to create a more loving and compassionate world through flowers. As purveyors of beauty and connection, we don’t just deliver arrangements—we deliver emotion, meaning, and magic.
Role Summary
The Franchise Marketing Coordinator will be the right-hand support to our Franchise Marketing Manager, playing a crucial operational role in bringing new French Florist boutiques to life, and then helping them to continually strengthen and improve their performance based on local Marketing insights, strategies, and tactics.
Your primary focus will be guiding new franchise owners through the exhilarating (and busy) New Store Opening (NSO) process. You will help them prepare for their Day One Opening and ensure they have the Marketing tools they need to successfully ramp up their business during their critical first few months. If you love checking off boxes, solving problems for local business owners, and seeing a New Store Opening come together flawlessly, this is the perfect role for you.
Key Responsibilities
1. Pre-Opening Marketing Preparation
Partner closely with new franchisees as they approach their opening date, walking them through the Franchise Marketing Playbook.
Ensure with HQ Marketing the setup of local digital listings, including Google Business Profiles and initial directory listings.
Assist franchisees in ordering pre-approved Pre-Opening collateral, signage, and localized print materials.
2. Day One Opening Execution
Serve as a Marketing liaison for openings, supporting franchisees with access to Marketing materials, press releases, and digital assets, as needed.
Ensure that franchisees are equipped to execute their community outreach, VIP previews, and local partnership initiatives to drive day-one foot traffic.
3. Ramp-Up and Post-Launch Support
Provide hands-on Marketing support during the critical first 90 days of a new boutique’s operation.
Monitor early performance metrics, local reviews, and social engagement to help the Franchise Marketing Operations Manager identify areas where the franchisee might need additional Marketing coaching.
Assist in rolling out seasonal or localized Marketing activations designed to turn first-time visitors into loyal, repeat customers.
4. Communication & Organization
Act as a friendly, responsive point of contact for new franchisees regarding basic Marketing questions, training, and material requests.
Maintain and update internal tracking systems and project management tools so HQ always has visibility into the Marketing readiness of the next wave of store openings.
Success Measures
NSO Marketing Readiness: Achieving a 100% on-time completion rate for all Pre-Opening Marketing checklists (e.g. Google Business Profile verified, paid media activated, print collateral delivered) at least 14 days prior to a franchisee's Day One Opening.
Franchisee Onboarding Satisfaction: Maintaining a high Net Promoter Score (NPS) or satisfaction rating from new franchise owners regarding the Marketing support and communication they received during their first 90 days of operation.
Early Review Velocity: Successfully coaching new locations to reach a baseline of local trust quickly (e.g. securing 100+ authentic 5-star Google reviews within the first 60 days of opening).
Day One Opening Engagement: Hitting target benchmarks for localized lead generation and community engagement around the Day One Opening (e.g. number of VIP preview RSVPs or local PR mentions secured).
Project Tracking Accuracy: Maintaining a flawless, up-to-date NSO Marketing dashboard that gives HQ leadership real-time visibility into the Marketing readiness of the next 5-10 upcoming boutique launches.
Skills & Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in Marketing, Marketing Operations, or Project Management.
Organizational Skills: Exceptionally detail-oriented with a proven ability to manage multiple timelines, checklists, and projects simultaneously without letting things fall through the cracks.
Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. You are patient, empathetic, and professional, especially when helping non-marketers (franchise owners) navigate new systems.
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable navigating project management tools (e.g. Wrike) and CRM platforms (e.g. Hubspot).
Franchise or Multi-Unit Experience (Highly Preferred): Previous experience supporting a franchise network, dealer network, or highly distributed business model.
Consumer Retail Experience (Highly Preferred): A background working with brick-and-mortar or e-commerce retail brands or consumer lifestyle brands.
What Makes This Role Exciting

Champion a Purpose-Driven, Beautiful Product: We are not just selling flowers; we are in the business of delivering joy, emotion, and connection. You will get to represent a visually stunning, "mass-premium" brand where our commitment to "Aesthetic Authority" is at the heart of everything we do.
Empower Local Entrepreneurs to Succeed: Your day-to-day work will have a tangible, meaningful impact on our franchise partners. You will play a crucial role in providing small business owners with the Marketing support, playbooks, and confidence they need to thrive in their local communities.
Help Build a 50+ Year Legacy Brand: This is a rare opportunity to help disrupt the retail floral industry. You will be joining a high-integrity, collaborative culture that values bold ideas, continuous learning, and true "skin in the game" as we build a legacy that will be celebrated for decades to come.
