Imagine owning not just the books, but the financial engine that powers a fast-growing partnership marketing platform.
At Inflektion, we built the first Partnership Growth Platform designed to activate partners (affiliates, creators, influencers, publishers, brand partners, healthcare professionals) using real time personalization.
Brands come to us because they want partnerships to become a predictable revenue channel, not a checkbox channel that sits in the corner.
We deliver outcomes.
Our product, sales, and operations are scaling fast. Now we are looking for the person who will own and run the financial engine behind that growth.
Your mission: Own and run Inflektionâs monthly financial engine. The end-to-end affiliate commission cycle and build the systems that keep it accurate, on time, and increasingly automated.
This role is about owning the numbers and the systems behind them: invoicing brands for the commissions we drive, reconciling and collecting them, paying our partners, and turning a manual monthly close into a reliable, automated one.
At Inflektion we believe the best finance operators do not rely on manual work. They build systems.
This may include:
Automating reconciliation, invoicing, and payout workflows
Using AI to speed up auditing, categorization, and exception handling
Turning repeatable monthly jobs into reliable, low-touch processes
Weâre already automating parts of this operation. Youâll work alongside those systems, help us identify what to automate next, and bring the financial judgment for when automation alone isnât enough.
We want to be transparent about what this role requires.
This is not an advisory or fractional-CFO role.
This is not a data-entry-only bookkeeping role.
This is not a maintain-the-status-quo role.
This is a hands-on operating role.
You will be responsible for owning our monthly finance operation end to end and improving the systems behind it. You will need to:
Own the monthly close, from invoicing brands through paying partners
Keep the books accurate and receivables and payables under control
Improve and automate the processes behind the work
Communicate clearly and work independently, with limited guidance
You enjoy using AI and automation to move faster and cut manual work. If your default is manual, one-off execution rather than building repeatable processes, this role will likely feel frustrating.
The Monthly Commission Cycle
Own the end-to-end monthly affiliate commission cycle: invoice brands for the commissions weâve driven, reconcile and collect them, and pay our partners accurately and on time.
Run the twice-monthly payment cycles (around the 15th and month-end): reconciliation, auditing, and running payout jobs, including ad-hoc and manual adjustments when needed.
Receivables & Payables
Process incoming payments and apply them to the correct invoices; keep receivables current and follow up on overdue accounts.
Own accounts payable, make sure partners and internal referrers are paid their share accurately and on time. Most payouts run automatically through our affiliate platform; you own the manual exceptions, one-off payouts, and the reconciliation that guarantees no one is ever over or under-paid.
Invoicing & Bookkeeping
Run the monthly invoicing cycle: bookkeeping, emailing, and creating/sending invoices.
Maintain accurate finance records and supporting documentation.
Finance Support & Systems
Interface with finance-related customer-service requests from brands, partners, and the internal team.
Identify weak, manual, or error-prone processes and fix them permanently, and help shape and extend the automation supporting finance.
Within your first few months you will have:
Every monthly cycle (invoicing, reconciliation, and partner payouts) running accurately, on time, and with minimal founder involvement.
Receivables and payables kept current, with clear visibility into whatâs outstanding.
Finance-related questions answered accurately and within agreed response times.
The systems are more reliable, more automated, and more scalable than when you found them.
Founders who trust that the day-to-day finance operation is fully under control.
We care less about titles and more about outcomes.
You likely have experience in one or more of the following areas:
Finance or accounting operations at a B2B SaaS or technology company
High-growth startup finance operations
You should have:
Strong, hands-on Xero experience
Real reconciliation, accounts-receivable, and accounts-payable experience
Confidence in spreadsheets, with the instinct to improve them rather than simply maintain them
Experience using AI tools in real finance or accounting workflows, with specific examples you can share
The ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and follow through without close supervision
Excellent written and spoken English, with reliable overlap with North American business hours
Bonus:
Affiliate or performance-marketing finance experience (commissions, payouts, revenue share)
A track record improving finance processes in a growing company
Interest in growing into a full-time role as the company scales
You are also comfortable using AI tools to accelerate your work and reduce manual effort.
Know this before reading further: this role is not for someone who:
Needs heavy direction to execute
Represents an agency that rotates the work among different people
Prefers to maintain spreadsheets instead of improving them
Is uncomfortable with the accuracy, deadlines, and accountability that finance demands
