What We’re Building
Honeycomb is a service for the near and present future, defining observability and raising expectations of what developer tools can do! We’re working with well known companies like HelloFresh, Slack, LaunchDarkly, and Vanguard and more across a range of industries. This is an exciting time in our trajectory, we’ve closed Series D funding, scaled past the 200-person mark, and were named to Forbes’ America’s Best Startups of 2022 and 2023!

Who We Are
We come for the impact, and stay for the culture! We’re a talented, opinionated, passionate, fiercely inclusive, and responsible group of bees. We have conviction and we strive to live our values every day. We want our people to do what they truly love amongst a team of highly talented (but humble) peers.

How We Work
We are a fully distributed company, which means we believe it is not where you sit, but how you deliver that matters most. We invest in our people and care about how you orient to our culture and processes. At the same time we imbue a lot of trust, autonomy, and accountability from Day 1. #LI-Remote

Little more about the team:

The Global Field Marketing and Events team at Honeycomb is a small, high-impact team that operates as a strategic pipeline engine — not a traditional events team. The team has influenced millions in pipeline by designing programs around measurable business outcomes rather than activity metrics. The philosophy is depth over breadth. Rather than trying to be everywhere, the team focuses on creating high-quality, relationship-driven experiences that move the right accounts through the funnel. Every program is evaluated on pipeline influence, conversion, and deal velocity — not just attendance or lead counts.

The team also operates as a genuine bridge between marketing and sales, designing programs that sales sees as their strategic asset rather than a marketing initiative. That cross-functional credibility is something you've intentionally cultivated and it's one of the team's biggest differentiators.

In short: it's a small team doing big things, with a clear line of sight from every activity back to revenue.

What you’ll do in the role:

  • Drive revenue by partnering closely with sales to identify and engage target accounts through integrated field programs - including campaigns, regional initiatives, and high-impact experiences
  • Planning, producing, and executing 3rd party and 1st party events that are virtual and/or in-person
  • Align internal teams (sales, marketing, customer success, etc.) on goals, expectations, timelines, deliverables, attendee-sponsor list acquisition, event logistics, and performance reporting.
  • Collaborating with the demand gen team on programs that drive pre-show interest, attendance, and post-show conversion activity and engagement
  • Own and optimize key performance metrics (pipeline, influenced revenue, conversion rates, net-new contacts) to guide strategy and maximize program performance
  • Reporting on the impact that field events have on top target accounts, including account engagement and pipeline growth. This includes ensuring that attribution is being correctly and properly reported.
  • Aligning with key stakeholders, such as sales and PR to maximize value and accelerate deals
  • Assist leadership with initiatives and projects, as needed

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • 4-7 years experience in field marketing, preferably in B2B SaaS market
  • Experience developing and executing ABM strategies a plus
  • Strong working knowledge of AI-powered tools to support marketing workflows - using AI to drive creative innovation, accelerate execution, improve program effectiveness, and scale regional impact
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Experience Outreach, Asana, Highspot, and/or gifting platforms is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in and a passion for converting amazing events into qualified leads driving the business forward
  • Exhibit creative problem-solving skills and ability to identify next steps, with meticulous attention to detail and deadlines
  • Proven capacity for exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • A self-starter with the initiative to drive projects to completion independently
  • The desire to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • You love being part of a highly-energized team. Innovate, collaborate, celebrate.
  • Experience with Google Sheets, Google Slides, and Google Drive, Slack with ability to learn new software quickly
  • Available to travel up to 40%
  • Culture values
