Job Description

Primal Kitchen’s Events Marketing Manager is a detail-oriented events rockstar that is enthusiastic about bringing the Primal Kitchen brand to life at tradeshows and consumer events. The Primal Kitchen Events Marketing Manager, reporting into the Brand Experiences Manager, will manage industry and retail relationships and vendors to ensure optimal performance wherever our brand meets buyers, distributors, and consumers. Working closely alongside marketing, sales, operations, and external agency partners, this role requires a mix of creativity and organization to help drive connection in all applicable marketing channels.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

Strategic Planning & Execution:

  • Industry Events

    • In collaboration with the Brand Experiences Manager, propose event strategy and execution for key national industry events including Expo West. Working alongside the Executive Leadership Team to elevate new product launches and drive awareness.

    • Manage industry show registration and marketing support for retail partners and distributors including but not limited to: UNFI, KEHE, SproutsCon and INFRA.  Total of 12+ events per year.

  • Consumer Events: In collaboration with the Brand Experiences Manager, develop and execute the consumer events strategic plan to support key initiatives.

  • SWAG/Branded Materials: Propose and develop all Primal Kitchen branded products needed for events, influencer boxes and employee recognition. Collaborate with Primal Kitchen warehouse to maintain inventory.

  • Internal Event: Along with the Executive Leadership Team, help plan and execute one internal company event per year, for 70+ attendees.

  • Budget Management:  Effectively manage budgets for all events, marketing support materials and swag.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in marketing and event management.

  • Experience managing 15+ events per year

  • Understands company goals and how to implement these goals and objectives through event marketing

  • Independent thinker and decision maker

  • Ability to integrate trends, while maintaining brand ethos.

  • Ability to work cross functionally with marketing and sales to drive business objectives

  • Attendance at 3-5 events per year (2-3 days in duration, each)

KNOWLEDGE:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs including Excel, PPT, Word

  • Strong communication skills to work independently and cross functionally

  • Experience with industry events and consumer event management

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Excellent planning, organizing, and project management skills

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills

  • Strong customer, quality and results orientation

  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures

  • Ability to be an effective team member and manage various projects

  • Ability to assist in facilitating progressive change

  • Ability to analyze data and develop innovative recommendations and solutions

New Hire Base Salary Range:

$89,800.00 - $112,200.00

Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.

The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
